Badíʿ Calendar
Shows today's date in the Badíʿ (Wondrous) calendar, the official calendar of the Bahá'í Faith.
This extension displays the date in the Badíʿ (Wondrous) calendar where you are, automatically determining sunset times. Days in the Badíʿ calendar start and end at sunset.
The icon in the toolbar is subtle but keeps you informed of the current date in the Badíʿ calendar. By clicking on the icon, more detailed information is shown. Some things you can view or do:
- Copy the current date in a variety of formats, for use in other places.
- View the Badíʿ date for any day of any year - what was the date on your birthday?
- Set reminders before/after sunrise and sunset. Have your computer announce them out loud!
- View a list of dates for upcoming Feasts and Holy Days.
- View a full calendar (in Gregorian or Badíʿ layout) appropriate for printing.
- View the Fast times for your location.
- Export an iCal file with Badíʿ dates, for import into any calendar system.
- Get a list of special dates for planning years into the future.
- Design your own custom date formats.
- Trigger IFFF actions or Zapier webhooks according to Badíʿ dates or sunrise/set times.

I have truly appreciated the efforts Glenn Little and others have provided to crafting this embedded tool. I frequently use it and take screenshots of the top left portion of the widget to include in messages to my community in Japan. There are layers of information stacked on the right side in tabs that make this tool useful for many occasions. In recognition of the dynamic nature of the dates and observances of the Faith that change from year to year, it is an invaluable tool for planning and consultation.

Extremely useful when scheduling Daily Readings to go out in Thai and English via email, Line, and FB etc. and reminding us of Feast and Holy Days with the Badi Calendar.

The developer is always making improvements to this extension. Love the details! The new import function to Google calendars worked well for me. It is great to be able to have reminders for the Fast and for Holy Days and Feasts. Thank you Mr Little!
