- (2025-03-29) Extra Virgi: I use the extension to check what permissions an extension requires before installing it from the Chrome Store. The update from March 19, 2025 causes two issues: 1. Removed popup function --> FIXED Before you could choose between a popup or sidebar when clicking the extension's icon. The popup option has been removed. Now only the sidebar is shown, which already takes 1/5 of the screen and cannot be toggled on/off anymore with 1 click on the extension's icon. 2. More permissions The new version requires more permissions. Before: tabs, sidePanel Now: management, notifications, storage, tabs, sidePanel I prefer the simple popup design and less intrusive permissions of the older version. Thanks for all your hard work and time you put into it. Edit: Glad to see the popup functionality working again. About point 2, I understand that the new functionalities need additional permissions, even if they are not needed for my specific use case. Final verdict - 4/5
