- (2025-09-11) J Figs (Jay): Cursorful is an absolute gem–especially considering how insanely expensive other comparable tools are. There are a few minor UX issues in the editor (trimming, timeline element focus + repeat behavior) and it doesn't handle videos capturing a browser window that is being resized. If you want to record video of stepping through a set of breakpoints you have to release the drag at every breakpoint or Cursorful won't capture anything. It also doesn't currently support using the responsive utility in devtools–when you scale down the viewport it ends up cutting off the video entirely. Once the responsive capturing issues are fixed, I'd give it a 4/4.5.

With that said, a few things that I think could be included: - mask/hiding feature. often you end up recording sensitive info like email which needs to be hidden - export in GIF
