Whether you're managing food sensitivities or cooking for someone with allergies, this tool provides fast, clear insight right where you need it — directly above the recipe's "Total Time" section.
Key Features:
- Displays intuitive allergen icons for easy visibility
- Seamlessly integrates with NYT Cooking’s layout
- Parses the recipe's ingredient list in real time
- Uses the ChatGPT API to detect allergens with natural language understanding
Notes:
- Only works on NYT Cooking recipe pages
- Requires a local backend (Flask) to handle API requests
