Image from store Anaplan Formula Helper
Description from store The Anaplan Formula Helper is a Chrome Extension to make writing Anaplan formulas easier. You may need to uninstall and reinstall to get the new release. You can do this in Window -> Extensions. VERSION 0.2 NEW FEATURES: - Formula text turns gray if your formula has too many or too little parentheses or brackets - The helper now always sits right under or next to the formula bar, no more of it getting in the way! - Bigger text and better formatting of the helper. - Accepts upper case formulas VERSION 0.1.1 Alpha Release: - View details about an open function while you're writing it. - Understand what parameter you're currently typing out. - Connected to all Anaplan functions with Google Sheet - (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Va4Zj0CAbkSEvtQ3G8PThSv9b76JziP1j7zp2rj5Uq0/edit#gid=0)

  • (2017-07-07) Andrew Snape: Very good if you know the function you want to use, is there a way to make it autocomplete (or offer options based on the first letters you have typed)? And, could you make it suggest which other functions can be used to provide the argument a function uses (for example, if I need a number in my function argument, can you list all the functions that return a number)?
  • (2016-07-05) Kyle Taylor: Has a lot of potential but I ran into some issues while using it. First, the contents pane blocks out most of the information when it is active. Second, the text shows up for too small on my screen to be helpful. Edit: You have addressed all my concerns!
  • (2016-06-15) Ellen Morley: I used the plugin with Chrome. Here are some observations: 1) for some functions help appeared, but not others 2) as others note, the text is extremely tiny and nearly impossible to read w/o setting your zoom to 200% 3) if you click on the “See more info” link, it takes you to Anaplan help in the current browser window, rather than opening a new one. When I used the back arrow to return to my module, I was instead brought to the settings tab with my module closed. This is a deal breaker for me.
  • (2016-06-14) Daniel Pollard: Definitely has a lot of potential, but when using the extension on a PC running Windows 7, the formula text shows up too small to be useful. I can provide a screenshot if requested.
