Caution! There has been an increase in fake KeepKey apps and extensions that attempt to steal user's funds by asking for the user's seed phrase. ShapeShift, the makers of KeepKey, created this extension to warn you about bad actors creating fake apps and extensions.
The official KeepKey software and extensions WILL NEVER ASK FOR YOUR SEED PHRASE unless you are actively trying to recover your wallet.

- Hello. It is finally not a fake one keepkey xd. You know how many scams were in there. By the way there is an unofficial alternative (web version only) webkeepkey.com . I'm using it like for 2 month's only, very good website. But only one HUGE PROBLEM!!! You can't send the transactions trough it. But I can finally track my balance without inserting my hardware wallet to pc.

- They're not all fake. Take my KKClient fork for example. It's definitely a real project. The code and changes made to it are all open for anyone to review. But most apps claiming to be from KeepKey on the webstore are fake though.

- It's true, all other "KeepKey" extensions are fake. ShapeShift.com is the officially supported client for KeepKey.
