• (2025-08-21) Anton Balashov: While looking for a replacement for an Unsplash Instant extemsion I found this one. It's good, but here's some notes that could make it even better: 1. It loads the highest possible resolution of the image which is often 3 to 5 MB. This takes a noticeable amount of time even on a decent connection. I have a 1gbps uplink but with that extension each new page (image) takes ~400 ms to load. It's a painful lag. I suppose Unsplash itself provides some downscaled versions of their images so we could use them here. 2. Caching! When we download an image we should instantly download the next one. So the next opened new page would have an image already. And the next one and so on. With these two fixes this extension would be a perfect one. Hopefully developer will notice this comment.
