Quick links to your most commonly visited sites
## What is it? ##
Think combination browser bookmark, AOL keyword (for those the old days), and extended (pinned) browser tab. BOOM – you have a getLink. Create a getLink by assigning it a keyword and URL. Then, use Chrome's Omnibar, type the keyword (prefaced with 'get'), and you're at the matching URL.
So, why would you want to use this? Wouldn't clicking a bookmark be easier? Well sure, but getLinks are for things that you visit often and don't typically bookmark. Here are some examples:
* get trellowork - takes you to your specific Trello work board
* get facebookprofile - perhaps you like admiring how stunning you look on your Facebook timeline/profile - use a getLink to easily get to that page
* get embertutorial - go to your favorite tutorial on Ember, and keep going back, again and again and again...
* get amazonhotdeals - why not? Buy stuff. Everyday. How can you not?
You get the point. It's not a bookmark because it's likely a temporary page/app that you might want a quick way to go back to multiple times in the future.
## How to use? ##
Once you click 'Add to Chrome', click the blue paper airplane looking logo next to the Omnibar and add a new getLink (again by adding a URL and keyword). Then, just type 'get [space or tab] keyword'. Boom. Done.
## Feedback welcome ##
