- It's been working well. Sometimes YouTube gets smart and notices it as an adblocker, causing my page to refresh several times before the adblocker manages to trick it and let me see the video, which is essentially wasting the same time I'd waste if I'd just watch the ad. But it was manageable. However, as of 12/21/2025 YouTube's got a new ad which is just the YouTube logo on a white screen, and it seems like that ad is screwing up with this adblocker, I am locked in an infinite reload loop and YouTube refuses to play the video until I turn CoffeeBreak off. Furthermore that ad pops up ONLY when I activate CoffeeBreak so I'm wondering if the YouTube devs made that specifically for this adblocker... Perhaps a revision and update for this extension is required to bypass this new ad and hopefully fix the refresh loop problem.

- Seems like Youtube is detecting it now and blocking you from viewing a video unless you disable it. It was great while it lasted. Thanks for all the efforts/support!

- Before I downloaded this extension, It worked perfectly as advertised. As of today though it only works half the time, the people behind this AdBlock will release an update, no doubt. Just placing this here since there's no way to contact them. lol

- Great Solution. Add paypal for donations and I'll gladly chip in some $$. It would be awesome if you could somehow automate clicking the "Skip" button with a timer that you could set for duration.

- So far works flawlessly. I had completely forgotten that YouTube normally also has a couple of static ads on the home page, and sometimes Coffee Break might miss 'em, but about skipping ads in the videos, works like a charm so far!

- In the eternal race between corporate profits and your own mental sanity, this is a very useful shield to protect yourself. It's not perfect, it's not ultimate, and the arms race continues. I am sure youtube will soon find a way to detect and block this adblocking method too. But for now, we resist.

- This extension never let me down, I wanted an adless experience because I wanted to play music without any interruptions and this was the answer. No glazing, since YouTube won't let you play videos when AdBlock is active, this was the only way to feel adless once again.

- not sure why but this extension gets detected about 30% 40% of the time. and often will refresh youtube multiple times until it actually lets videos play. youtube ad block warning will continue to pop up and sometimes will turn video sound off until i turn off the extension and then turn it back on. I'm not sure why. it worked well for a while and then just kind of stopped being as seamless. i still use it because it does accelerate mid vid ad rolls and mostly does what i expect it to. it's just a bit annoying to have to turn it off and on to get it to work again without youtube muting videos.

- Works Amazingly until Yesterday the 24th it no longer speeds through ads just mutes them. Other than that when it was working, I loved it it would take 2.5 seconds to 9 seconds to speed through unskippable ads that would go from 2-4 ads!

- It didn't work upon first install.. But simply restarting chrome fixed my issue! Phenomenal thus far, especially with other adblocks being taken down.

- Excellent solution to the ads issue. I was okay with watching youtube ads but they cram x3 in a row or 5minute ones CONSTANTLY which is unacceptable. If they limited them to 10s max and x2 max in a row we'd be fine. Sometimes it flickers while watching a normal video but it's barely noticeable and entirely tolerable.

- OMG, the person who made this is like the best person in the whole world. Ever since I was young I was getting tired of ads and didn't want to pay for youtube subscription. Instead! This free, coffee break, ultimatum came out! Genius, why doesn't this extension have like 10 million users? The person who made this is literally the best!!!!!!!

- Excellent extension. Especially useful for those wearing earbuds away from the computer. It basically means you have a few seconds silence where multiple ads would be. It seems to be the best solution after chrome updated to manifest 3 if you want to stay with chrome. Thank you!!
