Controls for YouTube

Use keyboard shortcuts to control video playback, easily follow transcripts and add more features to YouTube.

— Over 20 new keyboard shortcuts, all configurable.
— Follow the video transcript with live text highlighting in your preferred language.
— Restore a full grid of video thumbnails: hide Shorts and fit up to 8 videos per row.

The following shortcuts are currently available:

– Like video: [
– Dislike video: ]
– Open transcript: G
– Save current position: B
– Restore saved position: R
– Delete saved position: Shift-B
– Undo time jump: U
– Play faster: {
– Play slower: }
– Picture-in-picture: H
– Show channel info: Y

Two custom “time skips” are configurable:
– Go back 3 seconds: Z
– Go forward 3 seconds: X
– Go back 1 second: Shift+Z
– Go forward 1 second: Shift+B

Bring back the full grid of video thumbnails!
Are you tired of YouTube showing you only 3–4 huge thumbnails in your subscriptions feed?
Restore the full grid of video thumbnails:
– Hide or collapse Shorts
– Remove distractions like “YouTube Playables”
– Show up to 8 video thumbnails per row

All the keyboard shortcuts are also available when you watch YouTube Shorts:
– 0–9 to jump to 0%, 10%, … 90% of the video.
– J and L to go back or forward by 10 seconds.
– , (comma) and . (period) to go back or forward by a single frame.
– C opens the comments panel.
– W opens the Short video in the regular video player.

Autoplay next Short:
At the end of a YouTube Short, start playing the next Short automatically, or loop back to the beginning as YouTube does by default.

Channel information:
While watching a video, you can press Y to show some details about the channel that posted the video, such as their biography, links, etc.

Configure the regular video player to your liking:
– Remove the “+5, +10…” indicators over the video every time you press arrow keys.
– Remove the “Watch Next” overlays that can clutter the end of a video.

Privacy:
The extension does NOT track your data. Your data is NEVER collected or sent anywhere.
The extension has access to YouTube, and nothing else. It does not use any analytics service.
