CookieBlock ermöglicht es dir Cookies, welche deine Privatsphäre nicht respektieren, automatisch zu entfernen! Durch Verwendung fortschrittlicher "Machine-Learning" Technologie kategorisiert CookieBlock Browser-Cookies in vier unterschiedliche Verwendungszwecke. Diese sind "Streng-Notwendig", "Funktional" , "Analytisch" und "Werbung", wobei der Benutzer die Möglichkeit hat, jeden Verwendungszweck individuell abzulehnen.
Anderst als nervige Cookie-Banner die man auf diversen Webseiten vorfindet, verlangt CookieBlock nur eine einzige Interaktion, um die erlaubten Kategorien zu bestimmen. Danach versichert CookieBlock, dass alle abgelehnten Cookies vom Browser korrekt entfernt werden, egal welche Seite besucht wird. Man muss sich also nicht mehr auf die Ehrlichkeit der Website-Betreiber verlassen!
Daher lässt sich CookieBlock ideal mit Erweiterungen kombinieren, welche das Ziel haben, Cookie-Banner zu entfernen. CookieBlock versichert dir, dass deine Privatsphäre trotz ignorieren dieser Banner geschützt wird!
Diese Browser-Erweiterung wurde von Mitgliedern der Information Security Group der ETH Zürich erstellt, und wurde im Rahmen der Masterarbeit "Analyzing Cookies Compliance with the GDPR" entwickelt.

- (2021-07-03) Tomáš Fiala: Great extension which takes care of all the annoying cookie pop-ups. It is also very user friendly. All the options/settings are clearly explained in a way that even a non IT-expert can easily make an informed decision what to choose. Even though it does not work 100% for every single website, it is easy to just add an exception for the site where it fails but otherwise enjoy the absence of cookie pop-ups in a vast majority of cases. Highly recommend.
