- the pros (why i love it): snapsolve is literally magic u can just screenshot a problem from a website and it solves it in like two seconds which is way better than typing out 50 symbols and getting them all wrong like i usually do the cons (the annoying bits): paywall drama the free version runs out of credits pretty fast if you are doing a big homework assignment and then it asks for money which is a bummer for a broke student in 2026

- i use mathpad and it really help me with math problems before i struggle to solve and understand steps now it give step by step solution which is easy to follow and learn the snap feature is very useful i can take screenshot of any math and it solve instantly even handwritten problem work fine which is impressive i like the equation editor also it support latex and other format and show preview so writing math feel easier the ai tutor part is helpful when i dont understand something it explain in simple way and guide step by step

- Couple of trial of usage and honestly mathpad works pretty well for me as i need it for my engineering homework because i dont have to keep switching between my textbook and a calculator. i really like the snapsolve feature because it can read my messy handwriting and the cas verification mean i can actually trust the answer instead of worrying that the ai is just making up numbers. being able to export the equations directly into my google docs as latex is also a huge plus and it save me so much time when i am writing my lab reports. however i have some problem with it too because sometime the sidebar wont open on certain pdf files and i have to refresh the whole page which is super annoying

- i found that the sidebar can be a bit annoying because it blocks some of the buttons on websites like canvas or blackboard unless i close it and reopen it. the ai tutor is cool for explaining concepts but it can be a little slow to reply when the math gets really advanced. it is a solid 4.5 star tool if u need to do serious math work but just be prepared for a tiny bit of lag when you're doing the really heavy stuff
