- when i was 7 years old, i worked for the mamluk sultanate in the coal mines, until i got black lung. i was on the verge of death, but then, the great mamluk gods kept me alive. i didnt know why, and every second was agony. i stayed like that, in complete agony, with lungs worse then that of a chain smoker, for centuries. until i played it. TETRYCS. in that moment when i put the first brick in tetrycs, my black lung was cured, my pain removed, and my previous trauma of being in constant agony for centuries was gone. now i know why the mamluk gods kept me alive. it was to play, and to EXPERIENCE, TETRYCS!

- I see a lot of reviews publicly talking about the story of this game, so I will avoid doing that as it has already been plenty spoiled. But just in general this game is breathtaking. In a world of lackluster open world gaming "Tetrycs" takes the freedom experience and amps it up. You can explore the world of the top left of the screen, from anywhere all the way down to the top right of the screen, truly allowing player customization of experience. Things that I think make this game extra special: -Character customization is suprisingly in depth without forcing you to drag a whole bunch of sliders -Narative is really compelling albeit I have my gripes(see dislikes) but it brought me to tears in some sections (people who've played know what I'm talking about) and made me laugh in others -There's nothing like it, a strange mashup of topdown shooter/strategy game/puzzle/open world game/ dating sim its the kind of experience that will probably never be recreated Gripes: -As compelling as the narrative is it drags a lot towards the middle (too many cutscenes, not enough blood and guts) -It's HARD like really hard especially past boss 2 when they introduce the whole laser gimmick So all and all I would definitely recommend this narrative shooter strategy open world puzzle dating sim game to anybody wishing to freshen up their gaming experience. Like I mentioned the middle gets a little heavy on the narrative bits but some people enjoy that gaming experience, and if you do this is the game for you.
