  • (2023-06-07) Jenny Vitti: Xtralogic RDP Client has been so beneficial since I started using it in 2020. It is by far the most flexible remote client I found for ChromeOS, and it has made my remote working run smoothly. I appreciate the variety of options available.
  • (2023-06-01) saqlain ali: I liked it but its only one month free and after buying expired after 1 month better than this use Windows own VPS
  • (2023-04-25) Vikas Kulal: I bought 5 license and not sure how to use them. No license key provided. Have sent multiple emails to the support team and no response from them even after telling the, that this is critical to our process. Worst support team.
  • (2023-02-10) Alexander Potapenko: The weird support - no response at all. Money were taken, but trial version is staying. No facebook page though it's specified on their site. Even Google+ icon is still on the site. I don't recommend to use the app.
  • (2022-09-02) Golden Rose Zupanja: Perfect Software...
  • (2022-07-01) Richard Bussière: Works like a charm. Love the multi monitor support and the file system redirection feature. Best app!
  • (2022-06-02) Koos van Beelen: Impressed. This helps a lot! Thank you so much
  • (2022-04-27) Andrew Carnegie: Instant Paywall.
  • (2022-03-27) Daniel Luck: I've been looking for good RDP client or other remote client for Windows. I was using Real VNC Extension, but it's no longer supported and a bit buggy. I had tried Microsoft's RDP Client but that client only seemed to support full screen mode and was also buggy. I had tried out XtraLogic RDP and absolutely loved this product. The product works perfectly and I even bought two licenses (Home and Work). I love the customization options and the functionality!
  • (2021-11-18) Adolfo Santiago: Works very well, straight out of the box. I had an issue (my fault) with the email address I provided during account setup and it was resolved within 24 hours. Very pleased with that. I usually bark at anything with a subscription, but the price is reasonable for a whole year (just please don't increase it) and app behavior is just like MS RD.
  • (2021-10-27) Diego: crazy permissions! wants access to all of my extensions before even connecting to any server! BEWARE
  • (2021-10-20) Confi dential: Expensive app for not being able to connect even 1 time to try it out. Will not purchase for $20 to simply test that it works. Worse, why is it asking to read information on ALL my apps and ALL my extensions?
  • (2021-10-01) Nick Weber: Great app! Definitely worth the $20/yr! Let's me use my Chromebook as a remote desktop. I've had no issues with it. I've even sent a few questions to [email protected] and I always get a reply. I'm surprised Google or MS didn't come up with a decent RDP client for ChromeOS because this is the best one!
  • (2021-10-01) Nicht Verfolgen (Indsiger): It actually works... amazing
  • (2021-06-20) Ethan Smith: Works well, very responsive.
  • (2021-04-07) CK_Gamer: where do we buy
  • (2021-03-18) Williams WILMART: I had to pay for using this app for a free tool provided by microsoft... lol
  • (2021-02-23) Mike Lin: Only RDP application for chromebook that works flawlessly (near native performance), and I've tried at least four others including chrome remote desktop, microsoft remote desktop, remmina, remotix The rest all had issues with either performance, ultrawide, or multiple monitor support
  • (2020-11-11) Wei Cheng: It works great. Only improvement which could help a lot is to map the chromebook search key to windows key. It's hard to work in windows remote desktop without a windows key, while most chromebook has a search key which has no use in windows.
  • (2020-11-02) Ben Lisneuf: The multi monitor support works great!... But the experience is less smooth than Microsoft RD Client (due to it being a Chrome app?). It feels slow and I cannot add a zoom factor so everything looks small. Such a shame as I would love to use this app. The android version is not in the play store so I won't try it...
  • (2020-10-08) JJ Burnam: UPDATE: This worked great until my last license renewal. My license renewal was auto-processed, and I got an email receipt. But the app stopped working for me, saying my license had expired. I hate to call this out in a review, but I have received no response from Xtralogic and I don't know how else to get their attention. ORIGINAL 5-STAR REVIEW: The biggest drawback to my Chromebook was that it couldn't connect to my office network's Remote Desktop Gateway, so I had to keep a Windows laptop on hand. Finally found Xtralogic RDP client, now my Chromebook is the only computer I need.
  • (2020-09-24) Darren Abbott: The RDP Client for Chrome OS is heads and shoulders above the others I've tried. It supports multiple monitors with different geometries beautifully -- I have one monitor oriented vertically and one horizontally and can use both for my remote Windows machine. It includes a file manager to aid in transferring data between the local and remote machines too. Audio from the remote computer can be brought to the local one. The only limitation I've run into is that microphones on the local machine are not available to the remote one.
  • (2020-09-21) Chris Bleszinski: Hi. I cannot use multiple monitors anymore. Really hard to work this way. Help?
  • (2020-09-17) Todd Spencer: worked until the latest chromeos update on dual monitors...now not so much. needs an update for the update!
  • (2020-08-02) T L: Will be willing to pay if DEV responds to these users concerns in regards to licensing. Otherwise, best RDP application on the market right now for Chrome OS !!
  • (2020-07-22) paul howlett: Works great with multiple monitors on a Windows 10 RDP session but not on Windows 2019 Server RDP session. Anyone else got this working with dual screens on a Windows 2019 server?
  • (2020-07-14) Jason Rossi: Wow! This is great, just great!
  • (2020-07-12) Martin Ransom: Brilliant application Swapped from another application which was broken with the latest Google update multi montior support is really, decent speed very little lag, it just works so fix stars.
  • (2020-03-05) Jason Pratt: I've tried all the options (including the Android apps), and I believe this is the best performing RDP client available for Chrome OS. The official Microsoft Remote Desktop client for Android works, but is certainly not as smooth and fast as this client. Yes, it's not free, but I believe the price is absolutely worth it. Thanks to Xtralogic for developing a wonderful NaCl RDP client!
  • (2020-02-04) Randy Magruder: Solid RDP app, except that it will not support 4K Monitors on Chrome OS. It won't properly scale. Other solutions like TeamViewer and Chrome Remote Desktop do support 4K, but they don't use RDP protocol, which I need. Clearly it's not a ChromeOS limitation, but XtraLogic hasn't updated this yet.
  • (2020-01-21) Seamus Li: Great client that works with XRDP. However, crashes Sonic Mobile Connect VPN connection (compared to Chrome RDP).
  • (2019-12-27) Frederic Barry: This software is a must for any Chromebook users who want to connect to Windows machines via RDP. This client works much better than the Android-on-Chromebook apps (including Microsoft's own RD Client for Android). Very happy with this software!
  • (2019-12-07) Head Crash: License renval does not work
  • (2019-10-25) Epsilon Alpha: App doesn't connect to my Windows Server 2019, wants access to all my Extensions and Applications listed in my Google Account Nope sry, locked out again after notice it won't work
  • (2019-10-19) Ian Huston: I am rating the support for the app, not the actual app. The app itself is really solid, but I can't use it anymore because I can't renew my subscription. I contacted the developer but they just said contact google (lol), where there is no human support for this kind of issue. Can't use it because the developer doesn't want money or something. I don't know.
  • (2019-08-03) Jackson Major: The only chromebook app that I can get to work to use chromebook to remote in to my office. Some minor quirks in setup bue those were easy to overcome by "fiddling" with the settings. My only tiny complaint is that it is a bit slower than the Microsoft app on my Pixelbook but this COULD be hardware speed of my i7 processor Pixelbook vs my (cheap as possible) HP Chromebook ($1600 vs $150) and may not be the software AT ALL. This is intended to be a very favorable review since I had all but given up using my HP Chromebook for rdp applications!
  • (2019-07-10) Gary Bishop: I am impressed! I tried all the other RDP clients I could find and VNC as well but couldn't get anything to work satisfactorily with my Ubuntu 18.04 system. This app works perfectly. When working from home I mostly use the Secure Shell app to run tmux and vim but I occasionally need access to a GUI app that only runs on Linux. I would much rather pay $50 once than $10/year but this is the best answer to my needs.
  • (2019-06-13) zeta reticuli: Better than the Microsoft rdp app !
  • (2019-04-19) Larrie Stoffer: I recently tried several of the other Chrome-related remote desktop pgms, and this one is by far the best for me, mainly considering the "experience," as I'm on a 5mb connection (rural area with no other option), and this extension rocks, very fluid when scrolling and using it. All of the others, choppy, and even when I scale down the graphics, they are still nothing like this util. I did try and use microsoft's rdp, and on a windows laptop it's great, but not on a chromebook. It seems that microsoft doesn't provide as flexible a use, like xtralogic does, with the "experience" setting where you can set profiled use. You get that with the microsoft RDP on windows os, but they don't for Chrome, and I think that's the key why xtralogic RDP rocks for me!
  • (2019-02-21) Having real issues trying to use a trial volume license to log in our enterprise users. When trying to log them in via chrome://apps, we click the icon (using both the volume license email and a regular user) I get "User authentication required" and then I click continue and (without even having the ability to click the account and typing in the password) I am prompted with an immediate "User authentication failed" and I cannot do anything about it.
  • (2018-12-19) Alec Gilfillan: I clicked free trial, imported an RDP file, and was connected all under a minute. I'm definitely purchasing this.
  • (2018-11-28) Caleb Simon: Amazing! Multiple screen support on my pixelbook.. stunning. Tried 5 different RDP clients and stumbled on Xtralogic. Multi-monitor screen spanning out of the box that just works. I'm sure there will be quirks but was an instant buy. I almost gave up hope!
  • (2018-05-30) Макс: Good
  • (2018-05-27) Jakob Schödl: First RDP app that worked for me, thanks!!
  • (2018-03-02) This app is the best native Chromeapp I've seen. I use it everyday from home (with gateway), and at work...
  • (2017-11-19) r34per: Very good RDP app! It's so easy to use and manage connections. RD gateway support is also a huge plus. Being able to clone connections is very nice since i have multiple servers and pc's on the same domains. Well worth the 10$/yr to be able to use my chromebook for work(my work laptop is heavy and slow).
  • (2017-11-07) kanaier super: this is a good tool,if can copy file will be better
  • (2017-10-17) Chuck Ezell: it just works... easy to update settings and it's fast to get out of your way and let you work.
  • (2017-10-12) Krystal Jasmine Garnett: Does exactly what it says on the tin. Very intuitive and easy to configure. Use it on my Chromebook to remote in to work with no hassle, and saves me having to drag out my Windows dust collecting machine to do it.
  • (2017-08-24) Jeff Ray: Program is well written, easy to configure, and works really well. It definitely fills the gap where Microsoft's RDP client (current version) doesn't support gateways. Happy with the software and the licensing cost is fair. Highly recommended!!!
