Meazure Learning is committed to providing you the best test-taking experience possible while protecting the integrity of your exam so that everyone has a fair chance to perform their best on test day. We take privacy and exam integrity very seriously but we also realize that some privacy terms may be confusing.
Please remember:
• Meazure Learning will only monitor you during your exam session.
• Your personal information is safe and will never be shared or sold to a third party.
• Meazure Learning will not access any personal data not required for the exam itself.
• Prior to installing the extension, Google Chrome will ask for your permission.
• The permissions you agree to are only required during the exam and will never be used outside of the exam session.
What does the Google Chrome Extension privacy disclosure really mean? Here is a short description that shows how we use these features:
• READ AND CHANGE ALL YOUR DATA ON THE WEBSITES YOU VISIT - This may be a little misleading, but Meazure Learning uses this during your exam to ensure you remain on permitted pages or sites. For example, your facilitator might restrict the use of another webpage during the exam.
• DISPLAY NOTIFICATIONS - This permission allows the proctor to send you a notification while in your exam.
• COMMUNICATE WITH COOPERATING WEBSITES - During your exam, Meazure Learning may need to communicate with your test delivery provider or learning management system to ensure all the necessary conditions are set for an optimal testing experience.
• READ AND MODIFY DATA YOU COPY AND PASTE - This prevents the use of copy and paste during the exam which protects exam integrity.
• DETECT YOUR PHYSICAL LOCATION - Knowing where you're testing helps us provide a better experience and potentially help you if you encounter a technical issue.
• CAPTURE THE CONTENT OF YOUR SCREEN - Meazure Learning needs to be able to see what you're doing during the exam to provide our online monitoring and exam integrity service.
This brief explanation is intended to help demystify the Chrome extension privacy disclosure and give you a better understanding of why we use the extension. It's important to remember that we only monitor your activity for the duration of your exam session and take your data privacy very seriously. - I wish I could give this less than 1 star. Absolutely terrible. In my senior year of online schooling, never had a single issue. The school swaps to this software, literally 2 exam issues back to back. First exam (5 days ago) the browser just kicked me out of my exam (assuming on a background refresh and just decided I was done?) and I had to start the ENTIRE exam over. That exam was a coding course so I had to rewrite everything out. Second exam (today) the browser extension just refuses to cooperate. I started preparing to check in to my exam 20 minutes early and ended up being late for the exam and had to reschedule. Not sure what students can do about this but maybe if enough people complain then this software will either correct their bugs or they will no longer be used.

- The programming on their app and their extension are absolutely ridiculous. I started giving a hour ahead of time to do an exam. Yesterday it took 6 hours to take my test. This and Meazure learning are absolutely terrible. Your webcam and mic can be perfectly set up, but every time there is an issue a separate instance of the application happens that does not properly initialize the drivers to recognize things because it accepts it once, and then a second instance is looked at is cheated. If their support was coherent or even appeared to show literacy on the lowest levels maybe it could be fixed. This costs me real money and time and it should immediately be removed from here as even acceptable.

- VERY BAD! the proctors don't see your video and screen even if the browser tells you "all good" and when you reconnect it no longer works. please fix your app, reviews tell everything about how BAD it is!

- This program always has issues when I need to take a test. Today I have been waiting over 40 minutes to get logged in and I am still not ready to take my test. It is not considerate of the student and the students time frame. I do not know why WGU is using this as a testing service very dissatisfied.

- I have been using the Guardian browser for my tests and it was already bad. Now, I am getting forced to use this extension which do not even work. Keeps asking to download it over and over, support is inexistent, they ask you the same question over and over and have zero clue of what is going on. It also specifies it work on Egde just for you to install it and the it says it is not compatible. I do not know what developer or developers were involved in this, but they are certainly dumber that a potato. Edit: What worked for me was calling their technical support. Just select option 1 three times and they will place you in a hold, if they tell you to leave a voice mail just do it and call right back. After like 30 minutes a technician got my call and sent me that applet they use to control your computer (just pasted some links that didn't work neither) Then they do something on your account and you finally can access your test through your portal (WGU in my case) It prompted me to do the test on the Guardian Browser making the extension even more useless.

- As everyone else has stated... it simply doesn't work. It was already questionable initially but the transition to adding the extension? Horrible. Now every single time I take an exam it's an hour long wait on the phone with technical support, where as others have said, is a whole lot of explaining the same situation over and over again. I'm going to have to begin scheduling my exams being mindful that I'll have to spend an hour on the phone with tech support prior to even beginning my exam.

- Wasted two hours before my exam trying to connect my Webcam and Microphone with Proctor Support. I have taken countless exams before; complete waste of my time and energy. I went into this exam unprepared, stressed, and when asking what went wrong I received: "Ok test now." Fix your application, or do not provide a service at all. It is bitter sweet reading all the reviews below. Zero stars.

- I need to have a word with the person who designed an app that requires plugins to also block all plugins making the functionality useless. This is the first time I have spent more time troubleshooting the app than taking a quiz because universities cant figure out that maybe an app has low reviews across the board. Would rate 0 stars if I could

- I agree with everything everyone said. THIS IS THE WORST application EVER!!!! If I have to use this for every single objective assessment I will most likely drop this University. It is not worth this frustration!! They need to figure this out and find a different way for us to take these exams because this is complete and utter BS!!!! I was unable to take my exam today because first they said my camera wasn't working and I literally saw myself in the camera and then it would not redirect me to the exam at all!! They advised they were going to contact the Institution and then 30 minutes later told me I needed to contact them myself. It was nothing but a complete waste of my time!!! Mind you I had 5 different proctors and then technicians connect to try to fix my camera which did not need to be fixed. They disabled my webcam for whatever reason. This deserves ZERO STARS!!!!!!!

- Using personal laptop or company, can encounter hiccups..... Many configurations to check that can cause issues on actual day.... Should have alternative like dedicated test center where there is already prepared laptops. Where candidates just need to focus on exam and not on configurations of Laptop

- Had to reschedule my test, technician don't help. Running issue with the camera and taking test now. I don't know why we can't use the browser

- invasive, slow and coerced by the Proctor U and Athabasca Uni privacy invaders. 0 stars if i could. The system jams that means the extension and the browser and the wastes the time of the student with the time is ticking for long questions.

- As other people said - I am giving one star because I cannot give -5 or 0. This is ridiculous. The proctors are basically useless. The process is a big nonsense. They require you to download the Guardian browser, and then...use Chrome...I am attending the exam twice - the first time the exam didn't load at all, the second time the practical part didn't load. The proctors are constantly changing during your exam, which kills your focus. Their troubleshooting eats hours of your time...Complete BS. Because of ProctorU I am thinking that it's better to net get certified than doing this to myself again...

- The only reason I am leaving a 1 star review is because there isn't an option to leave 0 stars. This is possibly the worst application I have ever used in my entire life. My experience with Guardian has consistently been horrible and completely unprofessional. Today was the cherry on top of the cake. Having already had really negative experiences with this proctoring system, I went into today's exam with VERY LOW expectations, and yet, somehow they managed to go below my already insanely low bar. First of all, I think I had a total of 5 different proctors switch in and out DURING my exam. Everytime this happened they would take control of my mouse WITHOUT MY CONSENT and open tabs, open text chains, and basically completely distract me from focusing on answering my exam questions (this happened 5 seperate times). Then, halfway through my exam, my proctor AT THE TIME decided that my camera was not working, so they paused my exam, connected me to a technician, connected me to a different proctor, and then proceeded to tell me that there was actually nothing wrong with my camera....After all of that they connected me to a NEW proctor and after a total of 45 goddamn minutes, I was finally able to continue on with my exam. Guardian is incredibly unprofessional, disorganized, and insanely problematic. DO BETTER!

- Terrible, does not work. Been trying to connect to my exam for 1.5 hours. Now I've had to reschedule it for 4 hours from now and I have no idea if it'll even work then, and I'm sure I'll go around in circles again with the proctors.

- I uninstall after each use. I do not like the add on being here all the time. I am not sure what the service used to be like since I just started using it. However I feel weary about having this installed. I will reinstall when I need to take a test. Connection is terrible and there is a lag...
