Chrome allows you to have a custom page set up as the 'new tab page', but what happens if you want more than one page to be opened whenever you start a new tab? This is exactly what SpiderTab allows you to do. Easily set up certain webpages and layouts as your default 'new tab page'.

- (2025-01-12) callanyonefrompc: Doesn't work with local websites, like file:///mywebsite/main_page.htm. There is no reason for this. I have plenty of Chrome extensions that are working with my local website. Also, it would be nice to change the websites from inside of the tab, but you can't. You have to click the extension button and input the websites there and then open a new tab. There is also a lot of wasted space at the very top of the tab and on the sides.

- (2022-02-02) Andrew Chick: The idea is ok, but it still needs a LOT of work. I don't want EVERY new tab I open to consist of the URLS I have chosen in the extension! Why would I want that? It makes no sense at all. Sorry.

- (2021-09-25) Charles-Hugo Pastré: Very usefull tool. It has room for improvements: needs a dark theme + possibility to chose how to place the tabs instead of all in row.
