- This is the most horrid extension to ever cease to exist on this planet. This is almost indubitably 99/100 99.99% ragebait. Please refrain from even TYPING any website that builds any sort of excitement or happiness or even entertainment inside of you because as soon as you do , your teacher will be there waiting and watching like a 43 year old , child-loving , discord mod who's life depends on this job , practically desperately begging for you to press enter so they can absolutely shatter your hopes and dreams and basically spit in your face by pressing that one singular button just to sit there and watch your smile fade as soon as that process of clicking that button and blocking that site goes through . I genuinely believe that there is no point in "free day" or "free time" when we can't even go on any sites that would even allow us to play games for just 2 seconds . Open microsoft edge and go to https://store.rg-adguard.net/ Step 2. go to microsoft store website and find terminal by windows Step3. copy the url link when you click on terminal and paste it into the store.rg step4 mkae sure you set rp to fast Step 5 click ok/go and scroll to find an msix version link click and download step 6 Microsoft edge will show a warning in the download menu click bypass. step 7 paste this code into the terminal @echo off :loop taskkill /f /im ClassroomWindows.exe goto :loop ========================REPEAT STEP 7 EVERYTIME YOUR COMPUTER RESTARTS========================= (no guarantee this will work i have not tried this)

- The Relay Classroom Windows Helper is one of the most invasive and poorly implemented Chrome extensions I’ve encountered. It is often silently installed on school or managed devices without user knowledge or consent. From the moment it appears on your system, it behaves less like an educational tool and more like spyware or malware. This extension is typically deployed through administrative tools, bypassing the user entirely. There’s no prompt, no installation screen, and no explanation of what it does. The fact that this software installs itself without warning or permission is deeply concerning. In any other context, it would raise serious security and ethical concerns. If it weren’t distributed under the guise of “classroom management,” it would likely be flagged by security software and blocked outright. Once installed, Relay Classroom Windows Helper enables administrators to monitor nearly everything a user does in their browser. This includes open tabs, browsing history, search activity, and even real-time visibility into what’s being viewed. Incognito mode is disabled. Extensions can be restricted. Entire websites—including many harmless and even educational ones—are blocked without reason or transparency. Users are not told what is being monitored or how the data is used. Relay Classroom Windows Helper is not a solution. It is a deeply flawed product that prioritizes control over learning, secrecy over transparency, and surveillance over trust. It behaves like malware, degrades system performance, and creates an unhealthy digital environment. It has no place on any system where privacy, user agency, and mutual respect are valued. If this software has been installed on your device without your consent, you are right to be concerned. These practices should be questioned. Consent matters. Privacy matters. And no educational or workplace tool should ever compromise those values.

- I literally have a teacher who abuses the use of Lightspeed Classroom; even uses it during her PTO, which is a complete SHAME for a teacher. It's an embarrassment for this company to do such extension, basically a waste of time and effort of blood, sweat, and tears these developers put; heck, I don't even think they put any sort of effort into it. It gives students an advantage to improve their skills and exploit this extension. There has been so many hacks and exploits to disable this program that I bet the developers don't even want to work on the extension anymore.

- This makes students smarter and better and coding. It helps them understand how computer software works and encourages them to work for IT purposes. However, it also encourages them to visit websites that are inappropriate in nature on devices without this application. This can develop video game addictions, inappropriate content addictions, and may alter your kid's interests. Kids can also be encouraged to damage their devices or actively seeking to alter software, which can make school districts lose a lot of money.

- If anyone wants to know how to bypass this extension and the computer file, I will give step by step instructions (note that this has only been tested on windows, if you are using a device that does not use a windows OS that I can't guarantee this will work, sorry): --------------------------||STEP SIX MUST BE DONE EVERY TIME YOUR COMPUTER RESTARTS||-------------------------- Step 1: Open the notepad app Step 2: Type in the following: @echo off :loop taskkill /f /im ClassroomWindows.exe goto :loop Step 3: Click "File" and then "Save as." you can give the file whatever name you want. Step 4:Change the file into a '.bat' file. To do this you need to click where it says "Save as type" and select "all files" Step 5: Add ".bat" to the end of the file name (ex: if you want the file to be called "RelayTerminator", you will need to name it "RelayTerminator.bat" ) Step 6: Step 6: Open the file and wait. You can close the file once you see that it says “SUCCESS: The process "ClasroomWindows.exe" with PID (number may vary) has been terminated.” -------------------------||REMEMBER TO REPEAT STEP SIX AFTER YOUR COMPUTER RESTARTS||-------------------------

- This extension literally blocks everything I LITERALLY do on this computer. Even though I did nothing this useless extension keeps blocking things that should be block for specific reasons. I also checked my settings and files, it was literally watching even if I'm home. I checked in school nothing deleted but when I come home this thing starts adding random stuff in my settings and deletes random stuff in my downloads and files. GET RID OF THIS THING NOW. IT IS ILLEGALY WATCHING STUDENTS DOING STUFF AT HOME, SCHOOL AND ANYWHERE ELSE. THIS THING IS COMPLETE SPYWARE!!!! * its probably watching type this review in here.

- This extension is absolutely dog feces! The existence of it should be erased immediately! It allows educators to look/spy on you at any time! This spyware is hated by all students/pupils! I can't believe this is actually allowed. Like we all need our privacy. We know what we're doing on our computers whether it's bad or good. Even if it is bad what we are doing, we know it's bad!
