Installation
1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
2. Log in to your MeroShare account.
3. Calculate all wacc in My Purchase Source.
4. Visit the WACC section to ensure all relevant data is updated.
5. Open your portfolio to view the enhanced information.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this associated with CDSC/Meroshare?
- No, this is an independent hobby project developed.
Why doesn't it account for broker commission?
- Broker commission applies only after selling, and calculations vary based on stock total values and selling quantities.
Is it secure? What about privacy?
- The extension adheres to Chrome Web Store security standards. All data processing occurs locally within your browser. For verification, you can remove and reinstall the extension.
My antivirus flagged the extension as malware. Why?
- New extensions may trigger false positives. For more information, please refer to Google's support article.
The extension seems to include sold units in WACC calculations. Is this correct?
- Please revisit the "My WACC" section. The extension does not track individual buy/sell transactions.
Is it compatible with other browsers?
- The extension is available for Firefox on my website. For other Chromium-based browsers, please use the Chrome Web Store version.
What are the future development plans?
- While there are no concrete plans at present, several ideas are under consideration pending available development time.

- This is wonderful. I love it. Makes it very easy to track investment outcome and helps to make decision when to sell. I don't know anything about programming so I don't know if it is possible, but one extra feature would make this app 100% perfect. That is, showing profit or loss on shares that we already sold. Since meroshare has the record of WACC for shares that we no longer have, and when we do EDIS, it records what price we sold, it may be possible.

- I know we have a filter option that lets us search for specific scripsβmaybe we could expand on that to also let users exclude certain ones from the portfolio calculations. Could be a handy addition!

- Great extension. I was searching for a similar solution, and this extension is perfect because now I can manage my portfolio via Meroshare. Quick note: It seems that you need to refresh MeroShare after installing the extension and it will work fine.

- Dear Developer, You have done a great job. Using exteions for mero share is the ultimate extension I have been waiting for. I have few suggestion, if you can integrate into this extensions: 1. Some times, there are scripts of mutual funds already matured and paid, but still shown in portfolio. If a option to hide that, it will be very much useful. 2. In my case, I need to refresh https://meroshare.cdsc.com.np/#/portfolio in order to show the data updated by date, hence please update accordingly. Thanks for you effort.

- Great feature added. Impressive work. Suggestions: 1. please make all figures with two decimals if possible. Herna sajilo huncha ani confusion kam hunthyo. Actually this should be done (with figures right aligned also) across all share related websites with tables. 2. total investment should not include bonus @100 since we dont actually pay this. Rs.100 is purely for capital gain tax calculation purpose. Even the cash dividend received in bank account should be deducted to calculate the actual total investment but i suppose that is impossible to figure out and deduct here in mero share.
