  • (2024-05-30) Scott “DeathBoy” Lamb: MALWARE. Somebody modified this plugin to inject adverts into every google search. Do not install this, and if you have it, REMOVE it, it's not to be trusted now.
  • (2024-05-30) Dylan Oates: Used to be useful, however now it is essentially malware; do not install it. It adds extra searches/advertisements into your google search results. Reported it for abuse.
  • (2024-05-29) Matt B: Once upon a time this extension worked perfectly. It still does what it says in the title, but now it has a bunch more bloat and asks for a lot of permissions. Recommend you remove it unless you love being tracked and annoyed all the time.
  • (2024-05-29) Cassidy: Used to be good, changed ownership and now it has bloatware and requires way too many permissions
  • (2024-05-28) Chathindu Bandara: Edit: Well, if you're going to randomly add a new function that is totally different from the original purpose of the extension, maybe at least give the option to disable it?
  • (2024-05-27) Guy Evans: They updated it with bloatware and dubious permissions. Do not use.
  • (2024-05-24) Prime Slayer: Changed to injecting obnoxious overlay on google
  • (2024-05-23) Anonymous A.: May 2024 Update: For some reason, this extension added an obnoxious bloatware button on Google search results. Has nothing to do with this extension's purpose and cannot be disabled. I no longer recommend this extension. Use "Display Reddit images natively in browser" instead. Search for it on Chrome.google.com. Downgrading from 5/5 to 2/5. ______ Thank you for correctly solving a pointless problem that the corrupt, immoral, unethical, censorship-promoting staff of Reddit (Steve Huffman, Jen Wong, Drew Vollero, and Christopher Slowe) caused.
  • (2024-05-22) Bockhs Squad: yeah not anymore lmao
  • (2024-05-22) Michael: Does what it says it does. Love it. EDIT (05/22/2024): Changed to 1 star and removed due to suspicious permissions requests and changed functionality.
  • (2024-05-22) Dominik Gábrik: DO NOT DOWNLOAD! Possibly contains malware now. Suddenly started asking to get access to data on all websites and now shows a "Search on Reddit" button on all search websites, passing the query through s.previewrule.com created on 20th of May.
  • (2024-05-22) Adam Leonard: May 22 2024 *UPDATE* This extension displays an ad when loading reddit, and crucially demands permission to "Read and change all your data on all websites". The developer of the Firefox version of this extension is listed as "nopperl". The developer of the current version of the chrome extension is listed as "smithmichael". The extension appears to have been sold to a new owner, and is accused of injecting malware code. The extension "Display Reddit images natively in browser" seems to be a good replacement. ***OLD REVIEW PRE-MALWARE***<Aug 4 2023:This is an excellent solution to a bad situation, created by the reddit executives. My compliments to the developer.>***OLD REVIEW PRE-MALWARE***
  • (2024-04-30) Alex: updated my review, works in Brave now. thanks for this!
  • (2024-01-07) Jagvinder Sian: On Brave, I have to turn off and then re-turn on the extension to get it to work.
  • (2024-01-02) Markus Krainz: Thanks for making Reddit less cancerous.
  • (2023-12-31) Max Amps: Good. I hate redditard
  • (2023-12-18) 6 6 (6): reddit is cancer thanks for the extension
  • (2023-12-05) Elliott Hansen: It works, but I'm not a fan of it changing the default image to webp instead of what the image originally was. Please give us an option to keep the original file type.
  • (2023-11-07) Wallace: Ty for this very much needed extension! But sadly it stops working after I close the browser, and I have to disable and enable it every time to work again.
  • (2023-11-04) trunestor: works as intended
  • (2023-11-01) Cassidy: It's a beautiful thing
  • (2023-10-21) Ronald Lang Jr.: Makes reddit images work like they're supposed to. The fact that Chrome lets reddit hijack the "open image in a new tab" feature is itself broken.
  • (2023-10-16) Gabriel Oliveira: Thank you for this.
  • (2023-10-13) Masked Guy: Works as advertised.
  • (2023-10-10) Travis Turner: Isn't working completely for me; at best it was just removing the visuals of the reddit image page, but functionally it had all the same downsides still. This did however clean the url enough that a simple tampermonkey script got me the rest of the way.
  • (2023-10-07) Andrea: Thank you so much! ♥
  • (2023-10-06) Tiago: a fix that shoudnt be needed in the first place, but this works yeah
  • (2023-10-05) Ubay Abdelgadir: Thanks dude for this extension
  • (2023-09-24) Timeless: Works perfectly, thank goodness!
  • (2023-09-24) Adrian K: Works as intended. 5 stars
  • (2023-09-18) Berdar Yarkın Yücesoy: Still works!
  • (2023-09-17) Cena Bale: Thank you
  • (2023-09-13) marty: Thank you
  • (2023-09-07) Mark Reaves: Works and does what it says, but breaks on browser restart (Brave). Opening extensions page, disabling and re-enabling fixes it when this happens. Reload the Reddit page after such.
  • (2023-09-03) Kyle Weng: reddit's frame is so unnecessary
  • (2023-08-30) Christian Milling: Works great
  • (2023-08-28) Rohypnol Wilkins: necessary extension in 2023. smh
  • (2023-08-28) Mike Butt: Ridiculous that this is necessary.
  • (2023-08-26) Tom Perry: FINALLY a solution to Reddit's annoying image host that wraps an annoying frame around all hosted images, even when you try to view only the image. This is now a must-have for desktop browsing, and it works perfectly in Edge too. Reddit made things worse with their useless dumb idea and this sets the universe right again.
  • (2023-08-19) B M: Worked briefly, but now says "no access needed" when on the appropriate webpages for reddit. My browser just updated today too, not sure which broke it. Update: Reinstalling the extension got it working again. Thanks for making this extension, hopefully it will stay functional for everyone.
  • (2023-08-18) Ezorde: Works as intended
  • (2023-08-18) Dung hun111: It works TYSM <3
  • (2023-08-18) The Blinding Flashbang: Thank you
  • (2023-08-17) Borislaw: It works
  • (2023-08-17) Zach R: It works when I initially load it, but when I go to reddit later in the day the extension doesn't work, the images still load in reddit's viewer
  • (2023-08-17) Lachlan Williams: This is awesome! The new view media page Reddit added was driving me batty! Thank you!
  • (2023-08-17) Michał Tenerowicz: Simply works
  • (2023-08-16) Sparkou Blaou: Great job
  • (2023-08-16) Spiderking Demon: Leave it to the brainiacs in the Reddit UI department to make this extension necessary. They're dangerously close to screwing up a great thing with each and every decision they make. Good job u/spez!
  • (2023-08-16) Ariff Riley: A solution to an unnecessary problem caused by reddit in the first place
