With this extension, you need to hold Shift while pressing Enter to add a new line—no more accidentally sending half-written thoughts.
How does it work?
When ON:
- Pressing Enter in a ChatGPT message box adds a real newline instead of sending the message.
- To send your message, press Shift+Enter (just like other chat apps).
When OFF:
- ChatGPT returns to normal: Enter sends your message, Shift+Enter adds a newline (ChatGPT default).
