On playlists it plays the first few seconds of each song and skips to the next. You have literally no control over the playback behavior besides fully closing out of the YouTube tab.

I wonder if this problem could be fixed? i find it really annoying to have to disable and enable it every time I watch a video.

It certainly worked when I first downloaded it a few months back, then the back and forth between YT and Total Adblock happened, but now it seems YT is winning the battle, so... what's this extension for?

• (2024-02-02) beachrat82: Often this works like a dream! But occasionally it will play a 2nd copy of the video in the background and sometimes ads and playlists will be unusable. Thankfully Chrome has a nifty new button with a music note on it that you can use to close the duplicate videos. I imagine it's a lot like playing whac-a-mole, they get everything running perfect but Youtube randomly puts in new code to mess it up and it has to be fixed. Still giving 5 stars because it's so much better than not having it, hoping they get the duplicate video thing fixed again soon.

• (2024-01-28) RedPlumberGaming: This does work but the only downside that it plays twice of the same video at once and I have to refresh it every time. I'd be delighted if there was a fix for this bug.

Annoying to have to disable and re-enable this extension to utilize the other (which I don't blame on either extension, although it's still annoying), but otherwise works great.

• (2024-01-12) Mihailo: Using embeds to bypass the anti-adblock is genius, though I have the issue of having to refresh my page each time I want to watch a new video, otherwise the old video will still be placed in the box, this has the unintended side affect of playing videos twice at delayed times when on playlists. I great extension that is a little rough around the edges but has great potential, keep it up!
