"Canva Premium Remover" hides all premium elements (buttons, illustrations, features, ...) from canva.com

Debug Data: I collect very minimal ANONYMOUS debug data using sentry to check that the extension works as expected on all browsers. You can deactivate this using a checkbox in the extension settings/popup.

- 2nd edit 2026-04-11: Version 2.0.2 | Release date: November 25 2025 Note: the developer responded to my original review (rant?). Since then I have completely rewritten it + adjusted the star rating from 1 to 3 stars. What I like: - Developer has been maintaining the extension in its spare time for several years now. - Developer is receptive to feedback to improve the extension. What I don't like: - The extension collects user data via Sentry, for bug reporting according to the developer. The user is not informed about this. In contrast, the store listing page states: "The developer has disclosed that it will not collect or use your data". - The extension requires overly broad permissions. The "Management" permission, for example, gives it the ability to see all installed extensions on the user's browser. Even if the extension does not use this permission, it shouldn't have this permission in the first place. Room for improvement: - Revise the requested permissions - Let users decide whether they opt-in for user data collection via Sentry - Update store listing page to inform users how and why the extension collects user data. In its current state I cannot recommend Canva Premium Remover to privacy-conscious users.

- It was working great initially but after a day or so it is not working. It actually removes the small crown images on the bottom left of each thumbnail which makes it harder now to see what is canva premium and what is not. Had high hopes but I'm disappointed.

- Stopped working suddenly. Premium elements are dimmed but not actually hidden from view like before.

- It does hide all premium features from sight, but it still leaves the place the premium feature would occupy. So you still have to scroll a long way to find the free stuff. It is better than nothing, but not what I had hoped for.
