FPS extension
This extension shows a current FPS(frames per second) on a web page.
This is extension for debugging website perfomance. It's just easier to turn on than the developer tools one. inspired by similar extension which is no longer available in Chrome Store.

Not great. It just takes up space for me and it doesn't even show my FPS :/ I don't like it.

Works, but does not display FPS higher than 60.

Works on most sites, as long as the extension is pinned to the toolbar. However, it cannot display fps above 60 (I looked at the extension code, and it is just a limitation on displayed values), and consumes quite a lot of CPU (40-45% of a single CPU) while doing its job even on static text-only pages where the notion of FPS is not applicable because there is no animation. Also, it asks for access and modification of "all site data", while it would have been sufficient to request access to site data "when clicked". But again, I have reviewed the code, and it is actually safe - your data is not being sent anywhere, and the only modification is to add the FPS graph.

I have been using this extension for years now. Easy to use, reliable, inexpensive for CPU/GPU, it does what it says

it doesnt work it worked one time and then stopped working i am bery mad grrrr >:CCCCCC also i just noticed it only works on github or youtube and oreo.com and other random websites it cant go above 60 fps. however, it does actually WORK and shows the right fps/whatever you call it on those certain websites(unless they're more than 60 fps, which they most of the time are) :P

It doesn't work, and it has nothing to do with zindex. Just open "about:blank" and click the extension icon, you can see there is nothing added to the document.body...
