- A very good to perfect solution for this stupid forced grid view. It would be a perfect solution when it would also work on the front page, but it doesn't need to.

- Nice job with the updates. However as you might already know, the three dots to hide the video is buggy. The popup box disappears up to 2 times when clicking the three dots. Also when hovering over the thumbnail it doesnt register it right away to play/preview the video thumbnail, it can take up to 3 times to hover on the thumbnail for it to work.

- Does exactly what is says on the tin. Thanks for the fix, the forced grid view is EXTREMELY annoying. I wasn't involved in the A/B testing, so I pretty much got slapped with the grid view with no working fix.

- Thank you for providing a solution to a problem that shouldn't exist. I don't know what the devs at YouTube are smoking but they should stop. I'm on an ultrawide monitor and It would be nice if this can pair with the hover zoom extension.

- It doesnt have thumbnail previews and video description. It also doesnt have the bottom border color letting you know if you watched the video. Other than that its a good workaround for now.

- This extension has big potential to restore things to the way they were, but I'm hoping more updates will be coming soon. The thumbnails are gigantic (almost as big as if the extension wasn't on), and I have to put my cursor almost all the way to the edge of the screen when scrolling so that an even bigger box doesn't immediately pop up any time I hover over one of the sections. Also, I had it set to view at least part of the video description as written by the uploaders, but that is also gone... :/ (that may be YouTube's fault, I don't know at this point) I also see that they've removed the List/Grid option everywhere, apparently, including in individual channels' Videos section, where I actually do WANT grid view. Is that possible to fix with this extension too? Will edit my review once things get tinkered with some more. ;)

- It's an improvement, but the thumbnails are far too big, and seem to be the same size as in grid layout, which means I only get to see two listings at once. I can see six in grid view. Please make the thumbnails at least three times smaller, or have an option to specify the size reduction. Basically, make list view operate as it used to.

- Thank you for this extension, especially after Youtube's cancerous "update". Some suggestions for improvement. Please make the thumbnails smaller, preferably the same size as before. Also, please center the clickable space, and provide non-clickable space on both sides. Add back video description, and finally, please restore auto-preview on hover.

- Thank you for addressing the vertical list mode. If you could add the ability to have the video auto-preview on mouse hover over the thumbnail, that would rock (in subscription list) !

- This extension has the basics right, giving us back the list layout in working format, but it needs further improvements to truly shine. Other reviewers ahve already listed multiple such imprevements, like smaller thumbnails and missing video description, but I'd like to also add that the video thumbnails no longer show how much they've been watched (the red bar at the bottom of the thumbnail) or the length of the video, and moving your cursor over the video no longer starts playing the preview of the video in question.

- It works. But there's one improvement that I would like to see. Could you please add the ability to have the channel name over the top of the video thumbnail in bold so we can immediately tell what channel each video is from. That's the way Youtube had it. The way the screen is set up with this extension, you need to squint at the spot underneath the title of the video to see the channel name. Having the channel name in bold, over the top of each thumbnail will make it much easier at a glance to see which videos are from what channels. Thank you.

- Thumbnails look extremely zoomed in. Is a fix incoming? Nice work BTW, I've been using it for years. YouTube is unusable without it.

- Now that it updated to match the new YouTube updates, I love having my list view back, it's not quite the same as the list view I know but I will take it

- As of the current YouTube update (Feb 4th, 2026), they removed list mode. This extension moves the overly large thumbnails back to the left with the video title next to it. No longer has part of the video description under the title, but this is a good fix for a stupid YT update that no one asked for.
