- (2017-01-29) Peter Nycander: Looked at the source code. The encryption is naive, and not really safe. You should really just use AES256 for encryption, instead. Basically, what is done in this app is that every character in the text is being converted to a number by standard means, and the corresponding character in the password is also converted to a number. The numbers are then added, and thats the "encrypted" value. Thats just a caesar cipher with a password.
- (2016-11-13) ian poe: This is great! i am very in to codes & ciphers & stuff like that, and to have an encrypt-er in my browser is great! kind of annoying that you have to scroll down every time to get your output, though.
