- It should be called Super Simple Notepad! Click the icon to open the SIDEBAR (huge win!) with a blank note, start typing, and it auto-saves! No setup, logins, internet needed, or learning curve. The developer is also super responsive - when I suggested adding an option to increase font size, he implemented it almost immediately! I use this notepad daily for stripping weird formatting from copied text, drafting content in the sidebar instead of on sites with forms that submit immediately when pressing Enter, and when Grammarly doesn’t work correctly. Bonus features: the sidebar stays open across different sites and tabs, it's faster than launching Notepad or other apps, plus Markdown preview, exports, and Mermaid diagrams. I even used it to write this review!
