Smart Card Extension

This extensions enables a Web page to communicate with a locally connected smart card. Scripts running in a page can use a custom navigator.webcard object to list readers and connect to smart cards. It requires a helper native application that exposes the PC/SC subsystem to the extension. Note that this extension is probably not very useful for end users and is intended for Web developers who are building sites that could benefit from smart cards like government issued identity cards or smart employee badges.
