MetaGer - More than a search engine

This extension installs MetaGer as the default search engine for your browser. MetaGer is a privacy-focused metasearch engine. Absolutely no personal information is stored or shared without compromise. There are no advertisements.
An anonymous paid account (MetaGer Key) is required to use our service. There is no subscription, it's pay-as-you-go (https://metager.org/keys).

Anonymity while searching is cryptographically provable guaranteed, even if an account is required, by using anonymous tokens (https://metager.org/keys/help/anonymous-token). This web extension automatically performs the necessary cryptographic steps to anonymize your web searches.

Clearing your browser will also clear your MetaGer search preferences. You can enable the extension to save your settings so that they won't get lost.
