- (2021-10-15) Lorenz Wittenberg: This app works fine. I'm having some tech issues with some really advanced stuff. The basics of the app work fine. Always great contact with the dev-team, that's why I am giving the dev's a 5 star review! You shouldn't rate this app if you don't know what it is capable of. The 1-star reviews aren't justified.
- (2021-09-17) Bruce Tayon: One of the best print management solutions for organizations dependent on G-Suite and Chromebooks. Extension works well with some caveats. Looked at Papercut as well as some other options when Google announced the end to Google Cloud Print but most of them were too expensive for our non-profit. Directprint was extremely affordable given the features it offered (IPP links are auto added for all of our various printers without having to sort through documentation to find it, basic print job reports for all of our locations pooled by Org unit, toner level reporting, etc). The extension shows up as a Chrome webapp and isn't accessible from the extensions bar without navigating to manage extensions -> and "View in Web Store". On chromebooks though you can have the app pinned to user's taskbars. I would recommend this extension and service to any organization running lean or heavily invested in chromebooks with G Suite mgmt.

- (2019-05-09) Tom Lewis: As a Google for Education Partner we have been looking for a solution to enable Teachers and pupils to print reliably from Chromebooks and also have options for cost saving policies like limiting the number of pages users are allowed to print. Setting up DirectPrint is quick and easy and the support we've received has been excellent. In a world where printing can be a massive pain in the neck DirectPrint allows us to confidently tell schools that printing from Chromebooks is not just possible but easy and cost effective. Highly recommended!
