Universal and convenient HEX Color Picker - originally created by a team of developers for their own use - has gained popularity as a tool for picking color codes from web elements, screen objects and images. It combines the latest technologies for precise colour selection while remaining simple and understandable for everyone. With a single mouse click you can pick any shade and, if desired, combine selected colours into a CSS gradient and copy the resulting code.
To make the tool even more useful, you can use the online image colour picker at colourspicker.net. To do this, click the “Upload Image” button in the extension pop‑up; a page will open where you can upload your image and use the eyedropper tool to pick a colour from it. Select a pixel to get its HTML colour code along with the HEX, RGB and HSV values.
If you want to learn more about a colour you like, just go to the colour palette and click “Learn more about this colour.” On the page that opens, you’ll be able to explore Colour Variations and Combinations, as well as Colour Harmonies.
