Picture-in-Picture mode allows you to watch video in a floating window with playback video controls. Floating video extension
Play video in a floating window with no interruption from work or searching the web. Called picture-in-picture mode creates a fully working video player that will float with you across the browser and always on the top of other windows.
After clicking the icon selected video is opened outside the browser in a mini player with all functionality of the original player and general playback video controls. Fully customized settings suppose to resize the floating window as much as you want and set it at any place on the screen.
Picture-in-picture mode supports all video formats and works with popular video hubs like Youtube, Vimeo, Facebook and many others. Floating Video extension equipped with bunch of useful features, such as the following:

- There's an issue where if I have the video touching the edge of the screen, it randomly gets moved half an inch away from the edge. Playback controls within the popout would also be very nice.

- What is the point of hotkeys to control playback if the hotkeys don't work unless the literal full video's page is opened up in Chrome...? That is utterly redundant... If I HAVE to open the page to control playback I'll just use the original playback feature of YouTube. Why in Christ's name would I reopen my google chrome page to use the hotkeys and/or manually adjust playback through your extra additional playback bar? I can't fathom how this was considered logical and reasonable and not completely useless. So bizarre the lengths people will go to just to get you to download their extension over another one. Straight up lies to you.

- Verificando junto com outras extensões, ao ativar esta extensão , algumas páginas como da Microsoft e tuningparts não carregavam totalmente: aparecia rapidamente em forma de flash e logo dava erro. As páginas só funcionaram após desativar esta extensão.

- Floating Video with Playback Controls picinpic.net v1.1 2020-12-23 Causes some websites URLS not to work https://www.myfloridalicense.com/wl11.asp Disabling the extension temporarily makes the website work again HOWEVER that kind of defeats the entire purpose of having a popup player (with controls). RECOMMENDATION Fix the extension to work with the site & also Create a Blacklist (and Whitelist) of sites in the Settings page extension://gpeaojhfeejplchbhmhpcecpfginfnhk/settings.html to allow users to enter Checkboxes to enable & disable URLS that are added to the Blacklist & Whitelist Backup/Export & Import of settings and Blacklisted & Whitelisted URLS including the ability for user to Merge (and exclude duplicates URLS so the list isn't duplicated using additional resources) OR to Overwrite existing URLS with imported settings The backup/export file should use the following naming structure Floating-Video-with-Playback-Controls_2021-08=07_11-21-00.txt which allows easy reference to when it was exported Please update and let me know will change rating to 5 stars
