Private & secure
Your search image is never saved. We only collect extension version data. For more information, please see our privacy policy: https://tineye.com/privacy and our terms of service: https://tineye.com/terms.
How to use this extension:
1. Right-click an image from the web and select ‘Search image on TinEye’ from the menu.
2. View TinEye results.
How to configure the TinEye extension:
You can choose to open TinEye.com results in the current tab, a new active tab, or a new background tab, and you can select how your results are initially ordered: Last Used settings, Best Match, Most Changed, Biggest Image, Newest, or Oldest.
To set preferences, click the TinEye icon in your menu bar and select ‘Options’. If the icon isn’t pinned, click the puzzle piece in your browser’s top-right corner, then the three dots next to ‘TinEye Reverse Image Search’, and select ‘Options’.

- (2025-04-10) ice rabbit: Stopped working weeks ago. The new page always says: www.tineye.com Verify you are human by completing the action below. [ box to tick ] www.tineye.com needs to review the security of your connection before proceeding. So, you tick the cloudflare box, the page refreshes and comes right back with the same. Endless loop.

- (2024-06-27) Rex de CerviX: Leaves the Goo-LENS tool completely in the dust! TinEye easily and QUICKLY finds multifple sources of nearly every pic that is searched for and presents it in a simple, sortable format. Great resource to help determine if a photo has been modified from the original. The biggest PLUS is being able to find the highest resolution available online for that grainy, low res pic you just searched for. If you're a collector of quality photos, TinEye and this extension will become your best friend.

- (2023-04-17) Barra Darcy: Great for everything BUT Flickr. I have a lot of photos on my Flickr account which I uploaded after years of them sitting in my Google Photos account. I thought once I'd done that I could use the Tineye extension to weed out photos I'd saved which were not actually mine. Nope. No menu option at all; No Tineye on Flickr no matter what I do. What should I do to make it work? Tineye is a great site and very useful but I can't get this to work.

- (2021-11-23) G: It's the most useless extension I've ever downloaded. Can't reverse search to save its life. Like ever! In about 6 months it stayed in my browser, there literally hasn't been a single time when it performed better than chrome's own reverse image search. what the hell is the point of this thing?! ...and how the hell does it have so many good reviews?! are people unaware of chrome's own thing??
