High Resolution Downloader for Instagram
Easily download high resolution copies of any Instagram photo or video.
Just click the image or video you want to download, and its url will be copied to your clipboard. You can download or open it too. Works for stories, profiles, slideshows, IGTV, DMs, and the feed.
This extension will always give you the highest resolution version of an image or video — this is often larger than what Instagram displays.

Please update this extension for manifest v3 as it does not work anymore. I've tried and am not able to find a good alternative for this extension.

I like the simplicity but it does not in fact download or open in the highest resolution. It downloaded my image in 640x1138 and 0.7MP, storysaver downloaded the same in 1179x2096 and 2mp. Seems like the extension is also abandoned as it hasnt been updated in over 3 years now.
Great extension! And its open source so you can trust it.

Thank you. The extension works on images, but if the window of chrome is smaller or not extended, the extension doesn't do anything. For the videos just stays on "loading..."

It works but it downloads as webp format when i hit the "download" button over the photo at the top left. To download it as jpeg, you click the button "open in tab" and then you have to right click over the photo to download as jpeg, and that is a issue with something that. should be easier, anyway, it works but it needs improvement

working as it should be but the photo is overallping and covering the popup.. if you can fix that it will be relaly helpful..if you need any more detail i can provide it

Antes funcionava perfeitamente eu todas as seções do Instagram. Infelizmente agora não funciona mais nos stories, que era um diferencial bem grande dele.

Videos can't be downloaded recently. I suspect IG has updated how they embed their videos. But images still work fine.

It was fantastic to begin with but has recently stopped working. This could be a fault on my end but I cannot seem to fix it and download IG content anymore. Has anyone else had the same issue?

I downloaded the first image without problems but than when i tried to download another one it didn't work anymore and didn't let me do anything
