Use this extension to add videos to your Video Notebook (app.videonotebook.com). It works on YouTube.com, Udemy.com, Coursera.com, Meet.google.com, and Vimeo.com.
You can take your own screenshots and notes while watching videos on those sites, or just sit back and let the extension capture AI Slides and AI Notes for you. All notes have timestamps that you can click on to start the video from that point.
Notes for all videos you’ve added to Video Notebook appear on your web app, app.videonotebook.com. There, you organize your videos into notebooks. For AI Notebooks, you get rich AI features like:

- Thank you. Such a wonderfull concept and idea. However there are some problems with adding videos to notebook. I have already contacted wıth the email. I am sure in short term it will be better. Kudos to Develepers. We are waiting what is next to come.

- Everything was working until last year I started taking notes again and this time when i opened a video to take notes nothing appears then i did restart the browser does not help reinstalled the extension same issue and when i click on exports notes button nothing happens i mailed u guys please fix this if u can

- App idea and UI are good it used to work perfectly with no problems, but it's instable now I don't know why. It works sometimes than suddenly it stops, if it works it does not save your notes, or it makes a duplicate version on same video and deleting your previous notes, and so many other bugs that makes it hardly usable. I tried to reach out the support team but no response. I hope developers see the reviews, and fix bugs or at least return it as it was.

- I watched a 2.5-hour video and took notes directly here, but when I tried to reopen them, nothing had been saved. The site kept freezing every few seconds, making it basically unusable. To make things worse, the AI kept adding screenshots from the video to my notes even though I had turned that off—extremely annoying. End result: time wasted, work lost, and zero trust until autosave, stability, and AI controls are fixed.

- It did not save my work, and I only realised this after I tried opening the notes. Additionally, the site would just not work and hang every other second. Utterly disappointed because I had taken notes from a 2 and a half hour long video, and now it's all gone to waste. Not to forget that the AI would not stop adding more screenshots from the video to my notes, although I had turned it off. It was so annoying

- It was working perfectly but when I shut down my laptop and opened it again, it is not working now, well it is an excellent app but idk what's wrong all of a sudden, idk if anyone is facing this issue but like fir me it is like it

- This is an amazing app not only for youtube video but for any kind of video content it is useful. Perfect time stamps, although it sometimes misses the crucial information to include, in the summary. I think there is still room for improvement. Sometimes I found the most crucial information that might be conclusion or the final outcome results or findings of the explanation given not being catched by the ai. But for what it is worth. Amazing. Reduced my weight of reviewing and I am able to map my memory with the photo and info while revising. And my message to its developer, Bro, don't be rude with constructive criticism, even if other people might be wrong for what it's worth just take them in positive light and improve at best of your capacity. It's not the proper way to respond someone rudely they are your users.

- very useful app, the ai features work as expected. It doesnt work all teh time but when it does it works pretty well. But what i use it most for is, making notes and pointers and also it having a centralized library makes it easy to find which video i am looking for, if i ever want to look one up in the future. One app suggestion i could give is adding a transcript features. As in if im in the main app and i want to search for maybe a note i made or a specific word in the video then having it have a transcript to chek all the videos saved and check if the word is in the video would be helpful. Only other suggestion i could give is, make the website usable on ios. I open the website and theres no login feature so i cant search for the videos i took notes on, unless i already have its sharable link. Also having shortcuts for taking a picture of screen would be good addition (like for making a note- it is 'alt+z') There aren't any bugs or problems i've come across so i think its a fair 5 stars but id love implementation of these features

- The extension is not working!!! Youtube VIDEOS are not recognize by the app. It cannot search the link you as user provided.

- This Extension is wonderful . I am a programmer and i try to create a similar project and i know how perfectly this extension is working . I like how accurately it pick the specific frame from video and with each frame ai generated titile from the captions is a wonderful and useful feature

- I absolutely LOVE this app. It's lifesaver and helps me remember key moments. I use it to write my own notes at particular parts of the video. It saves me having to search for the right time in the video when I want to review.

- many a times it just dosen't appear and says that there is no video on which it can work , hence the time when i want it to work the most , passes. Many a times it just dosen't save the notes and screenshots i took the moment i turn off the video , and when i open it i see a blank folder and all my important stuffs are gone . my efforts are all wasted ! I reperatedly switch off (hide the AI content ) the AI , yet it constantly goes on generating . the AI is even incapable of understanding the point of the video for which it generated the notes

- Excellent app, but it needs some improvements, will increase the stars as they are taken care of. 1. Button should be able to stop automatic screenshots taken by AI without removing previous screenshots taken by AI that I allowed in the notes, just what are about to be taken. 2. When adding title to the image in the notes, pressing space bar resumes and pauses the youtube video continuously, it is annoying. 3. There should be a way to undock the notes overlay and keep it outside the video player window or website, it possible. 4. There should be a scroll bar for the notes overlay, so I don't have to constantly keep using my mouse scroll wheel. 5. Also, when scrolling in the notes overlay, at the top or bottom, it triggers the scrolling of Youtube website, that should be disabled when mouse is hovering and scrolling over notes overlay.
