Often when browsing YouTube, some videos are quiet and others are extremely loud 🔊
This extension seeks to fix this issue by compressing the audio, therefore levelling all videos to a similar volume, all in the aid of your ears.

- Excellent one-click solution integrated right into the video player. The compressor settings are great here, definitely more aggressive than YouTube's own Stable Volume feature, and they even out the levels nicely. On the one hand, I might be tempted to request some settings for those who know their way around a compressor, or possibly multiple presets, but on the other hand, there's a beauty in the simplicity.

- Great extension but causes frame drops on youtube videos (very minor though like 4-5 frames on a 10 minute video) other than that it fixed a lot of problems for me. Pretty much essential for me to use now and would be 5/5 if the frame drop problem wasn't there.

- I wanted to give it 3 stars, because it is not really a compressor. But I gave it a 4th star because the problem might be outside the devs control. It boosts low audio which is like 5% of youtube. What I really wanted was to truly compress to bring all volume to the same level or darn close. But if I have a video at full volume, doing an A/B test I can barely hear a difference. But if I put the slider down low it can make an inaudible video louder. So, for this to "compress" I have to turn on the compressor and turn the volume down further than usual to end up with a tolerable volume. It's not compressing well though if it works with the volume instead of scaling with it.

- Doesn't do anything. Maybe that's why it also doesn't need any settings.

- Works exactly like the compressor I was using on twitch. I use an audio interface which isn't compatible with windows' device properties volume limiter so this is so helpful ^^

- It doesn't work at all. I installed this to prevent loud dialogues and musical inserts in talk shows where levels are unbalanced. It did not work. I doubt it's a compressor. Could be a pseudo app to collect data because it doesn't have a compressor GUI. You need knobs and sliders to adjust thresholds and ratios. It's like a car without a steering wheel.

- don't expect this to magically fix all of your audio woes on YouTube, but it definitely helps smooth out audio levels a little and noticably boosts quiet videos. plus it's a very small and light extension that requires no setup whatsoever (for better or worse), it's a one-click thing that tucks itself into the video player's control bar. no reason not to give it a try and hear for yourself

- working great. but please add a hotkey for quick turning on/off. (like "V" or something) not every video need to be compressed. it's just a little bit bothersome when you watch different videos at once.
