Jesteś pilotem statku kosmicznego, któremu właśnie udało się uniknąć zniszczenia podczas ataku wroga. Zagubiony w bezmiarze przestrzeni kosmicznej wyruszyłeś na poszukiwanie swojej ojczystej planety !
Przemierzając nieznane i obce Ci galaktyki natkniesz się na wiele potworów, wrogich jednostek i piratów kosmicznych.
Walcz o surowce, rozwijaj potężne statki kosmiczne montując na nich coraz to lepsze uzbrojenie i ekwipunek i przede wszystkim wybierz klasę statku którym będziesz grał: Szturmowiec, Pancernik, Wsparcie, Handlowy czy może Uniwersalny?
Nova Raider skupiona jest na współpracy i grze zespołowej, więc aby wykonywać zadania musicie połączyć swoje siły. Działajcie ze znajomymi w grupach, zakładajcie gildie, walczcie ramię w ramię w misjach grupowych i przeciwko niszczycielskim bosom.

- (2013-03-28) Owen McAlack: This game is awful. A complete rip off of Dark Orbit. Expect to pay hundreds of dollars if you want to compete as you can't do anything unless you purchase their in-game currency. The moderators are also biased and unfair. Don't expect equal treatment unless you are paying for a high-level ship, and even though just avoid participating in conversations unless you want to be banned for days at a time.

- (2012-10-07) Gregory Lussier: Already a good strategy game and it will get better. Still a few tweaks to correct, a few moments where you don't really anything to do than shoot aliens randomly, but I am pretty sure the developers will do something to keep you playing.
- (2012-02-23) Enrapt Philant: This game has soooo many bugs, dont waste your time with it. You have to reload it to do anything, the chat doesn't work, and you can only move or shoot when the game feels like it.

- (2011-12-08) Justin Roach: A fun little space RPG. The core gameplay is well thoughtout, and the art is very pretty and enjoyable. As of this review, the game is currently in Beta, so it will continue to get better and better as they add more stuff.
