Any time you open a new tab, you’ll see a quote from an interview on The Creative Independent. It’s a good way to remember TCI exists as you go about your browsing rituals.
This new tab Chrome extension can be run completely offline. When you go back online, it will pull new quotes from TCI. Our Chrome extension will never track your browsing history or collect any data about you. It’s also completely open source.

This is my favourite "new tab" extension! It's such a nice, clean, simple, and PASSIVE way to stay inspired and thoughtful about my creative practice while I'm online. The Creative Independent is also one of my favourite websites to do longer form reading about the lives, philosophies, and artistic strategies of other creatives. Plus, this extension and their website's design have really lovely visual design and usability features. Would give 10 stars if I could!

I really love catching these little excerpts throughout the day while working. They've led me to great articles that I didn't know existed, and the simple design is a beautiful relief. I can't recommend this enough.
