[ Integrated Food Banner for Online Shopping Sites ]
Nutribanner is a web browser extension integrated into major Canadian online shopping websites.
The banner provides three labels:
- Nutri-Score: A letter-based rating (A to E) that represents nutritional quality
- Nova-classification: A category based on the level of processing from unprocessed (Group 1) to ultra-processed (Group 4).
- Eco-score: An environmental impact score (A to E)
Clicking the banner directs users to the official Open Food Facts website for more details.

We use over 100,000 Canadian food product records provided by Open Food Facts(OFF). Open Food Facts data is widely used in research and industry for food analysis. By using Open Food Facts, we promote a positive data-sharing ecosystem and contribute to food transparency.
[ Goal ]
Our goal is to enhance food transparency and drive positive changes in consumer behavior.
