As a professional Audio Engineer, I highly recommend this extension above all others. It offers an EQ, compressor, make up gain/generic volume boost, stereo pan, stereo invert, and mono collapse. The EQ is fine and serves it's purpose. It's the compressor, stereo pan, and mono collapse on this extension that absolutely can solve whatever sound issues the multimedia you view on the world wide web throws your way. It's like having some of the basic tools you'd find on a recording console channel strip available for your browser. What a wonderful extension and I am so grateful for the developers taking the time to create it.

The only small nuissance ive found is that there is a small bug when going into full screen on youtube, it bugs out a little bit when going into fullscreen, i'm guessing this is a chrome issue since its using content sharing to change the audio. but other than that its really good. Better than other equalizers ive used over the years.

I must click on it to open every time I open a new tab. Also just noticed that if this extension is active on a tab, the computer (Win 11) won't automatically go to sleep when inactive. Any help appreciated!

• (2024-07-16) Dev The Operator: Great. I live in an apartment and stay up late. I use this most of the time with any videos, streams, music, etc at night to both cut out the low end with the eq so I don't bother neighbors + normalize the volume with the compressor so that I don't have to constantly adjust volume. The mono feature is useful for the odd/rare youtube video recorded with sound in only 1 speaker. My only complaints are that when I sync chrome on a new computer, it erases my saved preset on all devices. I'd also like to see multiple user-creatable presets so that I can set up more than 1 of my own. Recently started having issues using this extension with google meets. This extension causes google meet audio to have a lot of static when people are speaking, and it causes them to sound like chipmunks. Other extensions that affect audio do this as well, but this just recently started for me over the last week.
• (2024-07-04) Ezlin: Been using this for quite awhile now. Primarily, I use it for the "Mono" option due to so many YouTube videos pushing audio through just one ear (interviews, RL vlogs, & the like), but the equalizer and volume control work as well.

I bought a Chinese CarPlay/AndroidAuto display, and the funny thing is, the EQ looked very similar to your extension here. I don't want to download theirs from the Play Store because they are definitely tracking my information. So they took your idea, made it compatible with linux-android/iOS. An app for all mobile operating systems to then play music via car stereo, but they added some tracking stuff. :( Anyways, let me know dude! Respectfully, William
• (2024-05-20) emery sieczko: Works great for leveling dynamics in movies and other program material and shaping spectral content depending on needs. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is there doesn't seem to be any custom preset saving or quick bypass available from the extension pin interface, which makes switching from different types of audio content a little tedious in configuration and bypassing (in extension manager). I would gladly purchase a "pro" version with that added functionality or just throw a few dollars the developers way as it is for offering this tool in the first place. If any of this functionality already exists, please disregard.
