- A great tool! I use it to block recommendations, comments, and the home page feed on YouTube. This makes YouTube far more pleasant and less distracting. I only have two critiques. The Hide End Scene settings do not work, and sometimes videos still Autoplay. However, I am really enjoying Unhook so far. Great job!

- Works great for web browsing and blocks ads. Hasn't worked on Youtube in a long time, so no need to get this if that's all you want it for. Because of that I am forced to get Youtube Premium to block ads on there, but for that I blame Youtube's changing landscape/policy changes/implementations to force ads to gain a profit more than I do AdBlock. So if you're tired to seeing ads when you are searching and surfing the web, Ad-blocking is the way to go, just understand some places will straight up block your access or circumvent it and give you ads anyway if they detect it running (Youtube)

- Solid ad blocker. Been using it on my school computer along with my personal one, it does pose a bit of problems when it redirects and has pop ups of its own-- BUT! Going to the settings of the extension itself and tweaking and removing some more things that you don't want to see like 'site tracking' does work well. Highly recommend from a person who hates ads with a burning passion. (If it shows ads regardless, then what I usually do is note the timestamp if it's a video then refresh once or twice until it's gone.)

- Amazing. I've forgotten what ads look like. I'm susceptible to advertising just like everyone else. I want to be advertised to, I want to see a cool new product to buy and then never use, but the **** youtube throws up has me wondering whether cookies and data collection is actually a real thing.

- As of late January 2026, it's stopped blocking the initial ad/s on YouTube before a video starts, but you don't get ads during the videos at least. When the ad starts playing, if you hit refresh, you don't have to watch the ad, but at least, I find most ads are very short and skippable after 10 secs. If not hit refresh. It's clearly YouTube, trying to get around Ad-Blocking, rather than Ad Blocker just not working properly. Hopefully we will see an update to stop YouTube completely again soon.

- Ad-blocking this is the best adblocker i ve every day of usage did it s job perfectly.But recently when doing a scan with windows defender it detected this extension as an trojan? Im not sure if it s really an trojan or windows defender just fake flagging.

- This is a true adblocker for Youtube™️. It really helps a lot as compared to others which often do not work correctly as intended. This removes all distractions and what leaves for us is a true Entertainment without ever gliching. I stopped bothering for ads now just due to this extension. - I JUST started noticing ads in my yahoo mail window and checked to see what ad blockers I had installed. I had: Adblock Plus - free ad blocker, AdBlock — block ads across the web, Webmail Ad Blocker all three were installed, but Adblock Plus was turned off. I turned on Adblock Plus, and refreshed the page and the ads were still there. Jumped on the web store, found this and tried it. Refreshed the yahoo mail page and the ads were GONE!! Yay! I uninstalled the others and refreshed the yahoo mail page, again, but a banner ad appeared above the email list, making it look like another email. At least it shows it's an ad. So this is definitely a keeper, but I need to reinstall one of the others that got rid of that ad, in the first place.

- Works well for the auto system id sponsors, but trying to submit a sponsor portion is not possible as once you click on the video time line to precisely establish the start/stop the extension pop up disappears using Brave Browser.

- Works great, EXCPET some features such as Pop-up Video Block only work if you block ALL ads on a site. This one flaw has me looking for an alternative ad blocker. Also, when I tried twice to submit a question or feedback, their form leads to a dead end, as it asks me to confirm my e-mail, with NO SUBMIT BUTTON.

On Youtube, doesn't have the annoying "Disable adblocker" popup like all the other's I've tried do, but that comes at the cost of sometimes it takes a little longer for videos to load, and a message pops up saying "Experiencing interruptions? Find out why!" but waaaaay better than having to watch annoying useless ads

- hello please update, youtube now says "This content is not available" when the ad blocking is on,and i have to toggle on and off so the video plays and then when it moves to the next video it says "This content is not available"again, as it seems the site detects ads now please update
