Most HTML players do not allow you to adjust the video playback speed. This extension was created to solve this problem. It overlays a translucent block with speed up and down buttons on the video during playback. The Video Speed Controller also allows you to rewind the video in both directions.
For more convenient control, you can use hotkeys: decrease playback speed (S), increase playback speed (D), reset playback speed (R), rewind video (Z), advance video (X).
In the settings you can change hotkeys and adjust the rewind progress. Change the position of the controller on the video and add or remove sites from the exclusion list.
Video speed controller for the web is a cool tool that will make watching videos even more productive and useful.
