Time Stamper
Quick and easy adding of a timestamp to an input field
A simple extension to add a time stamp to an editable field from the context menu.
After clicking into a text input area, right click to bring up the context menu; then click the "Insert Timestamp" entry. This will add the current timestamp as set on the options page.

Updated to Manifest Version 3
Added 2 time offset, changed the logo font, and other tweaks. Re-corrected inserting of timestamp into a "contenteditable" field
Added the notifications permission so to make updates less intrusive. Along with having the quick pick be the actual character format and added some improvements to the options page previews.

Works on and off in Chrome does not work at all in firefox it was working well for a long time however it all just stopped please get it fixed as it is very useful

I love this app. It was exactly what I was looking for, but there is one problem. The Custom time keeps switching. I'm not sure if it is due to Chrome Profiles and sharing them between machines. But daily, I have to go in and modify my custom time stamp to Y-m-d h:i:sa - Super annoying when I forget to do it. If you can fix that, it would be worth more stars!

Everything works as expected. Sometimes the timestamp will disappear unless something is typed after it. Seems to happen most in forms and google taskboard.

Not working on any pages for me either. The same behavior as in the previous comment: tried hotkeys and right-click. Shows up in the right-click menu on textboxes but does not execute. My Chrome version: 103.0.5060.114 (Official Build) (64-bit) System: Windows 10

Excellent extension, nearly perfect. Would worth 5 star if I can assign a Function key to add date time in addition to using context menu. Also some forms & text fields seem not compatible with the extension, e.g. the form that I am currently typing this review does not insert the timestamp for instance.

Hi there! Great tool - very handy in leaving notes on our CRM on when was what updated. Quick question though - it works perfectly with CTRL + Y for my PC, but I recently bought a Macbook so wondering what the keystroke is? Command + Y opens the history tab unfortunately.

Right clicking and inserting the time stamp doesn't seem to work on any text field I try. Even this one right here in the Chrome App store.
