Bitdefender Password Manager is the ultra-secure password manager service built on top of Bitdefender’s long history of elite detection, protection, performance, ease of use and unique user experience.

Forget about using the same five passwords over and over again. Forget about the need to constantly come up with new and strong options. Forget about having to remember which password goes with which account.

Bitdefender Password Manager gives you end-to-end data encryption. We help keep your passwords safe and your mind free from password clutter.

✔ Strongest known data security protocols – equipped with AES-256-CCM, SHA512, BCRYPT, HTTPS and WSS protocols for data transmission. All data is encrypted and decrypted locally, the account holder alone having access to the Master Password.

✔ Runs and syncs on multiple platforms and browsers – wherever you need us: as a browser extension for Windows and macOS (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Edge, Brave) or as a mobile app. Once saved, you can access your passwords from a PC, a Mac, or a mobile device running iOS and Android with the help of a single Master Password.

✔ Imports your data easily – from Bitdefender Wallet, 1Password, Bitwarden, Chrome browser, Dashlane, LastPass, Firefox browser, Sticky Password, and a multitude of file formats such as json, csv, xml, txt, 1pif and fsk.

✔ Your very own password strength advisor – we believe in “better safe than sorry”, so we provide you with a password strength check that tells you immediately if a password needs more complexity. Plus, we have the hassle-free option to generate random and extremely complex passwords with a single click if that works better for you.

✔ Secures your shopping experience thanks to credit cards management feature–autofill in your payment details and store them securely to save precious time with every online order.

✔ Simplifies the management of your online identities – autofill different online forms with personal data without any worries: all data is encrypted locally, and no third party has access to it.

Please Note! You need to have or create a Bitdefender account to use this extension.

It's an okay substitute for Kaspersky, although not as intuitive as I need it to be. Why must I have to provide my Master Password every single time any of my Apps require me to reboot my laptops after an update. I'm still trying to figure out how to share this to my other laptops.

When I first tried using this product a couple of years ago, I found it foreign to use; however, now that I have taken the time to learn more about it, I have found that it is an excellent product that makes me feel secure. Overall, another outstanding Bitdefender product; this is why I have been with them for over four years.
Tristan
Really one of the best Password managers on the market!
Doug
I am leaving three stars on this product because I could not get my master password to change from Microsoft edge. Instead, I had to go to Firefox in order to make the change. If you're going to offer an extension for the browser, make sure all the features work for the browser. This is partly the reason why I dislike predominantly browser-based password manager. I'm guessing it won't be easy for me to import my passwords into this product from the other password manager that I use.

Reserve the right to rate later. This was a freebie to replace my Kaspersky suite. Right now, I am not too fond of the program since I have to manually enter 277 entries either into their supplied Excel spreadsheet or into the password manager. Not happy about the time this is going to take.

Doesn't set up as it is supposed to, can't get help anywhere and the "user guide" doesn't give instructions on what to do when stuck on a 'copy and paste" screen. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

Functionality is lacking from other popular password managers. Most password managers know the site that you are on, so when you click its icon, it can automatically give you an icon to copy user/name password. This makes you search for the site you're on. No support for passkeys yet. Lacking some basic UI/UX niceties. I get this for free with Bitdefender antivirus, and worth that, but I wouldn't pay money for it.
Kristin
Love it, very pleased with BitDFefender's products in general, just wish the password manager had the ability to delete duplicate entries without having to go through every single entry one-by-one manually, which is extremely tedious & inefficient.
Daniel
It mostly works flawlessly, occasionally you'll have some hiccups but overall it's a great addition.

install is not easy to follow. makes no sense to new users
Tommy
Password Manager has crashed once and I had to completely replace all my passwords, and now PM keeps dropping (for no reason) and I have to put my password in repeatedly to access my passwords. After hours of playing their games I will probably change my programs when it is time to renew my subscription. If they can't fix my password problem after hours of begging, how can I trust them to protect my other issues?

Most websites open fine with Password Manager but a few just do not work like Costco.ca. There may be 1 or more that did not work but I gave up on those. I'm a new user, just second day and still learning as I add more sites
Hilmi
It works fine in my Edge Browser, no bugs or annoying ads
Donald
Managing all the places/passwords I go to regularly is still a pain, as there is no way to organize to lists into something resembling folder. I'm using the Favorites function to manage one of the lists, but it is nowhere near enough. I have dozens and dozens of these things and I won't import most of them until manageability is addressed. Hopefully it will get there one day.

Not compatible anymore.

I have been having a lot of problem with Edge browser lately. After I have been away from the computer for few hours, Edge browser is completely frozen and only thing to do is to end its task. After few days I decided to disable Bitdefender Password Manager add-on at the end of the day and see how the Edge browser would behave the following day. Guess what? He was very snappy and working perfectly. So I enabled the Bitdefender Password Manager add-in again and then the same issue started to effect the Edge browser. So Bitdefender developer need to fix this issue as soon as possible. Three weeks left of my Bitdefender Password Manager trial. If this is not working by that time, I will need to find a new password management app.
Allan
Install procedure goes in circles. Instructions are not clear and will not install the product.
Keith
I found it confusing but I am not a computer expert. I think I finally got it.
Corey
No point until you support importing 1 password with 2FA support in the password entry otherwise LastPass and 1Password are the best.
Christopher
Clunky and slooooooooooooooow. I'll stick with BitWarden for now.
Gary
Current version (1.0.1) is not ready for primetime. Cannot import from 1Password yet. They are working on a fix. Then I'll be happy to use it.
Ali
Good on browser here, terrible on the android app!
