asbplayer est un assistant d’apprentissage des langues, conçu pour les apprenants sérieux qui étudient leur langue cible à travers des médias sous-titrés.
Contrairement à des extensions similaires comme Language Reactor, asbplayer est entièrement gratuit, open source et compatible avec quasiment tous les services de vidéo en streaming existants.
Avec asbplayer, vous pouvez enrichir n’importe quel élément vidéo en streaming avec :
- Des sous-titres sélectionnables. Vous pouvez importer vos propres fichiers de sous-titres ou utiliser les sous-titres auto-détectés sur des plateformes populaires comme Netflix et YouTube.
- Une interface et des contrôles pour créer des flashcards Anki de haute qualité, incluant sous-titres, captures d’écran et pistes audio.
- Une interface et des commandes pour naviguer entre les sous-titres, activer/désactiver les sous-titres, modifier la vitesse de lecture de la vidéo, et bien plus encore.
- Des modes de lecture spéciaux qui, par exemple, sautent toutes les sections sans sous-titres afin d’optimiser votre apprentissage.

- I seem to be having an issue where most of the time I load ASB player on a youtube video the subtitles don't synch with the audio. I've tried to play around with some settings and it doesn't seem to fix the desync issues. I would appreciate any help.

- It‘s really the best extention for anki I've ever seen!!! But also when mining on youtube, it seems that the recording ends several milliseconds ahead of the cutting ponit. After I set the cutting point and hit the white dot at right of the audio field, it starts to record and I hear the audio exactly I need. But opening the card on anki, I just find the audio is imcomplete, so that everytime when I am mining, I need to give sevral more milliseconds and check every time to make sure the last few words are included. It is also a liitle bit difficult to measure and often include some words in the next sentence. Whereas, the starting ponit always mathes the the setting. (I set both Audio Padding End and Start as 0) I would really appreciate if you could help to fix the issue or kindly ponit our some setting mistakes I made. Once again, this is really amazing extention!!!!!!!!!!!

- This is the best extension that I ever saw. I love it because a can see any site with the special subtitles, lenguaje reactor can´t do that, and the best of all is that you can change de speed of the subtitles with just changing the speed of it.

- Honestly gamechanging extension for language learning by sentence mining. I recommend this extension to anyone interested in being serious about learning languages (japanese or not!). I just wish it wasn't coded using MUI hahaha

- I've been using the asbplayer extension for almost a year before it getting added to the official chrome store and i have to say i kneel. its the perfect way of making anki cards with a single click and although there are a few things to iron out here and there i still highly recommend it to anyone looking to sentence mine.
