• (2025-04-13) asaito: Excellent. No reason not to use it. However, currently I have to wait for the summary to finish while peeking at the page covered by the pop-up. I would like to see an option added to show the summary as a side panel instead of a popup (like Edge's Copilot).
• (2025-02-25) H. Y.: I noticed that after the recent upgrade, my API key was still saved in the settings, but my custom action were gone. It's a bit of a hassle to have to set those up again. Could you, the developer, make sure future updates preserve all user settings, including custom actions & theme?
• (2025-02-20) Bloke: Very good extension, but I'd give it a 4-star because it does not summarize webpages in an independent interface and rather extension pops up with summary. I know we can open summary interface in an independent tab after summary is produced, but hope it start right away in an independent interface. Also I hope the developer keeps updating extension with new Gemini models as and when they arrive.

• (2025-01-15) Kate Erickson: A good tool with room for improvement. The options page doesn't seem to actually update the tool. I changed the prompt it should be using to generate summaries, and it does not apply it. I restarted the browser even, and it did not apply. I asked in the follow up question box what prompt it used and it did not match mine. I'm also disappointed that there isn't a way to copy the summary from the pop up box, only when its opened in a new tab. This would be a really useful tool, and while it works, unlike many other extensions, it isn't perfect. I hope these issues are fixed, so I can update to 5 stars.

Uses Gemini as the backend. and i tried to use the extension to summerize amazon aws canvas tutorial page but it gave me error saying: Error: 403 Method doesn't allow unregistered callers (callers without established identity). Please use API Key or other form of API consumer identity to call this API. i generated access token inmy canvas account settings but i don't see where i should put it or feed it to the extension, please help, thanks.

• (2024-06-12) Tory Gattis: Fantastic tool if you have a Gemini Advanced subscription, which makes it easy to get a free API key (which from what I can tell is required to get the extension to work). Great short summaries of long articles. Coincidentally, Gemini Advanced on Android Pixel recommended this extension to me!
• (2024-06-09) Kevin Nguyen: This extension is nice. It uses the more up-to-date Gemini as opposed to Chatgpt 3.5. I was especially looking for custom instructions and full lengthy summaries so that's great. My only criticism is that the results would instantly vanish the moment I click anywhere but on the extension window. Which means that I would have to wait for Gemini to finish on a page and not click elsewhere.
