The clock has three hands, easy to see.
The one on the right shows the hours. The up position is 0 hours and the down position is 24 hours.
The bottom left hand indicates the minutes. The closer to the horizontal position, the closer to the whole hour.
The top left hand is the seconds hand. It works like a conventional second hand, but moves within a quarter of a second, i.e. it has a quarter of the angular velocity.
