The new update that optimizes videos to make them seekable is working perfectly now. It's so convenient to use and it makes recording and sharing videos a breeze. Keep doing a great work scre.io team! July 9 Update: The Video "Optimize" to make the videos seekable seems to be broken. Workaround for my fellow users is before saving repeatedly click the end of the video until your reach the actual end of your video.

HOW ARE PEOPLE SUPPOSED TO KNOW than if not then the video is unskippable. also it should optimise by default... but once i got to know that, it is fine and does the job. edit; u can click optimise on settings which supposedly always optimises. but again idk why that is an option not enabled by default however as far as chrome extensions goes it is still 5 stars

• (2023-08-16) Mohammad Farzad Farazandeh: this extension is just fine, but in order to get best of it, there is two things you should do : 1. audio recording is a common probleme, but this is not because of extension, it is because of the system setting, which should be fixed from sound setting of your pc. there are extensive tutorials how to do. just search "how to record system audio in chrome extensions" in google and BAM. solution is there, 2. FREE UP YOUR C DRIVE : if you do not have space on your C drive, the Extension keeps recording and does not show any warning or error, but when your done by your recording, then it will not allow you to save, despite of the fact that its a common sence to note this, but it took me a week to figure it out. the rest works just fine,

• (2023-07-17) Arie de Muijnck: Works great after disabling the hardware acceleration in the browser. Some graphic cards just need that. The 'Optimize' button fails to work, but I convert to MP4 anyway which restores the seek function. A timer to stop recording after a settable time would be very nice.

No sabes cuándo puede fallar, he grabado un video de hasta 3 horas sin problemas y otras veces con 10 o 20 minutos no se guarda bien, perdiendo lo que hayas grabado. Grabas con el miedo de que al final no se guarde nada.
