Description from store
Are there any files or folders you are sharing and do not know about it? Did you share something with someone in the past and forgot about it?
This Google Docs addon will scan selected folder and inform you about files or folders that have different sharing status than their parent and so are worth reviewing.
It will also allow you to revoke permissions of folder contents in one bulk to its parent, ignoring selected items.

- (2015-08-29) Ben Santos-Richmond: It did get some of the shares, but it didn't flag any of the several ones that I actually wanted to remove permissions for. Unfortunately it makes the App a bit dangerous to use as it stands as I would have relied on it had I not known in advance that there are other permissions...it would have lead me into a false belief. For some people this could be a security disaster in the making. There is definitely a need for this function as Google don't provide easy means of viewing and managing sharing permissions.
- (2015-04-08) Urban Sandström: This app is as far as I know the only app that can help me with permissions audit. This is an important tool for me when using GDrive as project document repository. We need to audit file sharing and file permissions continuously. Unfortunatelly this app is buggy. It often reports a folder to be "All files are matching permissions of the analyzed folder". This is not true since I can see that the files has different owners. It is persistent behaviour on certain folders.
- (2015-02-26) Jack Adams: I was looking for an App that would display all the documents on my drive that were shared....I tried it on a small directory and it worked just fine. When I tried it on a large directory I get the following message "All files are matching permissions of the analyzed folder" I know I have shared documents in this folder. Funny thing, when I went back to the Chrome Web Store and clicked on "Visit Website", the results were displayed....me thingst there is a bug in here.
- (2014-08-30) Luis Arcos: Very nice app and helpful considering it is very easy to lose track of what you have shared and with whom. A reset sharing permissions at the folder level would be very helpful.
- (2014-08-15) Krom Stern: Please add a function to reset the permissions of files and folders (including all sub-items) to default (so that items could inherit parent folder permission automatically)!
- (2014-07-28) Kamil Veřmiřovský: I love the idea and have been missing it for long time in Google Docs functionality. Finally I do not have to do it manually. The app still has some work to do (e.g. be able to reset folder permissions or execute on a specific folder) but is a good start and already very useful for me.
