Unlock a new level of insight into your Strava training with the Strava HR Zones Display extension! If you train by heart rate, this extension seamlessly integrates customized heart rate zone data directly into your Strava experience, helping you visualize your effort and track your progress more effectively.
Why Strava HR Zones Display?
Strava is fantastic for tracking activities, but understanding your time spent in specific heart rate zones often requires digging or manual calculation. This extension brings that crucial data to the forefront, right where you review your training:
Visualize Your Effort: See exactly how much time you're spending in each of your personalized heart rate zones.
Custom Zone Configuration: Define your own heart rate zones! Whether you use a 3-zone, 5-zone, or any other system, set up ranges that match your specific training philosophy and physiology via our companion web interface.
Multi-Sport Zone Support: Tailor different heart rate zone configurations for various activity types (e.g., running, cycling, swimming). Your running Z2 might be different from your cycling Z2, and this extension handles that!
At-a-Glance Summaries:
Monthly View: Get a comprehensive monthly summary panel on your Strava calendar page, showing total time accumulated in each HR zone.
Weekly View: See compact weekly summaries directly alongside each week in your Strava training calendar, offering a quick overview of your weekly load distribution.
Key Features:
Personalized HR Zones: Connect your Strava account and easily configure your heart rate zones (up to 5 zones by default, with customizable names and ranges) through our secure web portal.
Automatic Data Sync: The extension securely fetches your activity data and processes it against your custom HR zones.
Integrated Calendar Display: View your time-in-zone data directly on your Strava calendar pages (/athlete/calendar or /training/calendar).
Monthly Summary Panel: A clear, color-coded panel showing your aggregate time in each zone for the selected month.
Weekly Mini-Panels: Compact, color-coded bar graphs for each week, providing a quick visual of zone distribution.
Secure Authentication: Uses Strava's official OAuth2 for secure and private access to your activity data. We only request the permissions necessary to provide this functionality.
Dynamic Updates: The display reacts to your navigation within the Strava calendar, updating summaries as you switch between months or weeks.
How to Use:
Install the Extension: Add Strava HR Zones Display to your Chrome browser.
