Chrome 32 had a sound bug that was causing to to crash and show "unknown command maxplayers". It's been updated to work again.

- Exactly how I remembered it to be in the late 90s :) btw, If you sell this in the Nintendo Eshop I would definitely pay. So would my one of my best buddies and many others. There is Doom on Eshop but no Quake yet. No quake across any platform other than PC and possibly Steam. Edit: 5 years after initially reviewing and I bought Quake for Nintendo Switch, seeing as they must have listened to the fans! Its my favourite classic fps. Beats Doom and on par with Duke Nukem :D

- Very hard and stressfull to play in hard mode , but anyways , I beat this game in norm and hard but I had tried to register to play secondary chapter but how?

- Good quake port, but only shareware and no way to upload the full game files and will most likely never get it considering the last update was in 2016. Still very fun though, i haven't tried the multiplayer but great thing to waste your time on during class

- For a quake port on the Chromebook, it's pretty damn good! Of course, it's not the full version of quake, just the shareware, but even then episode 1 is pretty good. it runs pretty smoothly and I have a really old Chromebook, yeah not much else to say...If you're looking for a good time-waster and a good speed-running game, this is it! (I've meant to write this review for a long time just never got around to doing it LOL, anyway have fun with rocket jumping!)

- i liked it but it was a bit to limited by the donation thing for being advertised as a "free" game. besides that, it was a great throwback and i loved it, please make it less limited in the free version, to get people to want to buy new features (it's a good marketing tactic) - NinjaDevGames

- This is the best way to play the original Quake on Chrome OS. Sure, it may be a little bit laggy and sometimes may crash, but who cares? Everything that made the original Quake a legendary FPS game is in this port. The graphics, the music, everything. Of course, they couldn't get the full game of Quake on Chrome OS for free because distribution of paid content for free is considered piracy. While Bethesda was out here remastering Quake, someone took their valued time and effort to port the original Quake onto another system, and it is completely running off of JavaScript. Bethesda needs to learn from talented people like these. Sure, seeing Quake in a new remastered form is pretty cool, but seeing a complete port of the original Quake from 1996 is a legendary advancement in the computer world. Every game company needs to learn from these kinds of talented people, and stop re-releasing/remastering the game with a new engine. I only played for five minutes and I am already hooked. Sometimes, the Chromebook isn't that bad, because you get awesome stuff like this. Well done! Please keep doing stuff like this.

- I've never played Quake before and all I have is a chromebook so this port allowed me to play Quake for the first time and honestly I loved it! Thanks to who every made this port.

- I like it because its easy to learn and if you have a USB to micro USB you can connect a Xbox controller (I or any other controller) to play. P.S If you are using a controller map the buttons.

- Im not giving one cause its bad, but you only play 1/4 the game and to play the rest you need to pay $45! WHAT THE HECK! I would rate 5 stars if it had the full game or even for a lower price, but THIS, is WAY TO MUCH.
